If you have been following Rashmika Mandanna on Instagram, you'd know that she is extremely popular on social media and her fans adore her. A fan once traveled around 900km to her residence in Karnataka just to see her. This is the madness that her fans have for her. Rashmika Mandanna made her acting debut in 2016 with the Kannada hit Kirik Party and she will soon make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu, a spy-thriller, opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
View this post on InstagramHowever, like other actors, she too has been a victim of brutal trolling online. Rashmika, in her latest interview, opened up on the incessant trolling she has had to go through from time to time. She said that it gets suffocating when people are talking about your body, your skin, your relationship. She added that you feel like 'you’re stripped naked in front of so many people.'
View this post on InstagramHere are five such instances when she was trolled online:
Airport Look View this post on Instagram
Recently, Rashmika was spotted at the Mumbai airport in a T-shirt dress along with hot pants and white sneakers. People were insensitive enough to slam her for not wearing full pants.
Bashed For Ogling At Vicky Kaushal’s Underwear In An Ad
Rashmika had featured for a men's underwear brand in a TV commercial opposite Vicky Kaushal but the content of the TV commercial didn’t go down well with the viewers who chose to troll her for staring at his underwear strap in the ad.
Trolled For Not Wearing A Mask And ‘Overacting’
A while back, she was spotted on the streets of Mumbai. She forgot her mask as she got out of the car. As soon as she realized it, she covered her face with her hands. People trolled Rashmika for her expressions and called her out for 'overacting'.
Questioned For Not Speaking In Kannada
Rashmika's film Dear Comrade was released in four South Indian languages, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. While promoting the film, Rashmika said that she found it difficult to speak the language Kannada, which didn’t go down well with Kannadigas.
Called A ‘Dagar’ © Rashmika Mandanna Instagram
She had a bad experience when she shared her childhood photos on Instagram. A troll called her a 'dagar,' which means prostitute in Kannada. She gave it back to him and said that 'no actor deserves this crap.' She wrote, "I don't know what you guys get out of doing this to us actors. Is it because we are the soft targets for you? The public figure doesn't mean you can target us ruthlessly. A lot of you keep saying- ignore the bad comments or trolls and I generally 'do'. Say anything you want about our work- you have the right but no one has any right to say anything about our families or our personal lives. No actor deserves this crap. Because let me tell you this, being an actor is not easy. Each and every profession deserves the utmost respect. I think people should first start respecting one another."

We think this is unfair and uncalled for. It’s high time that we put a full stop to trolling because it can affect anyone mentally.

Rakesh Trivedi from Fursatganj and Vimmi Saluja from Pankinagar broke the box office back in 2015 as Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan essayed the role of fictitious con artists - Bunty and Babli.

And as the reboot of this superhit movie hit the floors, this time with Saif Ali Khan replacing Junior Bachchan in the role of Bunty, Bunty Aur Babli 2 broke more hearts than the box office records, since first reviews of the movie call it ‘just a time-pass’.
The sequel to the comedy drama, follows the life of two young, ambitious and equally cunning con-artists played by Siddhant Trivedi and Sharvari who steal the identity of retired thieves Bunty and Babli and open a can of worms that the audience didn’t really bite into.
#BuntyAurBabli2 is timepass entertainment in first half. #Sharvari is superb.
    — Rajiv Vijayakar (@rajivvijayakar) November 19, 2021
Not holding a candle to the OGs, the only one who seemed to have made an impact in this movie is Sharvari, who exceeded expectations in delivering more than just millennial cool. As Pankaj Tripathi replaced Amitabh Bachchan, Saif replaced Abhishek, originality and humor was also replaced by forced humor and uninventive puns.
#BuntyAurBabli2 looks like one of those made for #VOD #sequels that would not be worth seeing in theatres headlined by a guy whose major work now happens on #OTT
    — Arihant Dudhodia (@ArihantDudhodia) November 19, 2021
A user on Twitter called the movie a ‘snooze fest’, while another one wrote, “#BuntyAurBabli2 looks like one of those made for #VOD #sequels that would not be worth seeing in theatres headlined by a guy whose major work now happens on #OTT.”

    — SuryaREACT (@suryakant88) November 19, 2021
People on the internet also claimed that the only saving grace in the film were either Saif and Rani or Pankaj Tripathi trying to give his best to the role. Someone commented, “#BuntyAurBabli2 is no where near to the original film #BuntyAurBabli which released in 2005. We missed #AmitabhBachchan and #AbhishekBachchan in a big way
#RaniMukerji and #PankajTripathi saved this film.”

Rohit Sharma’s first series after being appointed as the full-time captain of the Indian cricket team in the T20I format of the game is going just as he had hoped. After two convincing victories against New Zealand, the Men in Blue have already won the series and will look to get the whitewash against the Kiwis in the third match in Kolkata on Sunday.
He is a skipper that everybody loves and adores. People felt that once Virat Kohli would step down from this position, it was Sharma’s to own, especially after becoming the most successful captain in the Indian Premier League as well.
    View this post on Instagram
However, with time, certain fans are beginning to feel a little bit of 'Rohit Sharma overload' in the Indian cricket community as whenever something good or praiseworthy happens within the dressing room, it is the skipper who gets the credit, even if he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Exhibit A: After dismissing two important wickets from the Black Caps’ batting roster and helping his side restrict the touring team to a 153-run total in the first half of the match, debutant Harshal Patel was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ recognition.

Later in the day, when Patel was being casually interviewed by his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal, he revealed that he did not expect to win this award and felt that it was the Indian opener and vice-captain KL Rahul who deserved the recognition a lot more than him (Rahul scored a strong 65 off 49 balls with six 4s and two 6s).
It was a moment of pure camaraderie and mutual admiration, which is absolutely brilliant and a must-have for the Men in Blue considering the disappointment that they had recently faced during the T20 World Cup 2021. However, for some reason, it was Rohit Sharma once again, who was credited for Patel’s response:

The Indian cricket team have seemingly gotten over their disappointing early exit from the T20 World Cup 2021 based on the way they have been playing against New Zealand in the three-match bilateral series in the shortest format of the game.
View this post on InstagramBeing led by Rohit Sharma, the newly appointed captain of the Men in Blue in this format, Team India have dominated the Black Caps in the first two matches and have therefore already won the series.
However, during the first half of the match at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Sharma was caught by surprise when one of the members of the audience managed to evade the security beyond the borders, jumped over the fences and rushed towards him in ecstasy.

    — Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) November 19, 2021 The fan quickly fell on the ground with his hands folded in front of his idol with the hopes of touching Sharma’s feet, presumably. Although this behaviour is extremely unacceptable and can even endanger the cricketer, even more so during the COVID-19, the rest of the ‘Hitman’ fans ended up thanking the pitch invader for showing his sensibility after rushing into the ground.
Realising the kind of complications Rohit Sharma could get into if the two had made contact, the fan lay on the ground far apart from the skipper. Sharma asked the fan to get up, shared a small and healthy chat before sending him away.
People who watched the whole episode take place on their televisions quickly hopped on Twitter to thank the “sensible” fan for thinking on his feet, getting his two minutes of fame and ensuring that Sharma’s health would remain intact.

    — Dhruv Raj (@being_ingenious) November 19, 2021However, there are also a lot of fans saying that the pitch invader wasn’t as sensible as he is being portrayed to be. They believed that the man had all the intentions of making contact with Sharma but couldn’t do so as he slipped on the grass that was covered in dew.

    — Kohli ka pankha (@prathmesh_510) November 19, 2021Sharma, himself, had a successful night against Tim Southee’s Black Caps. After dismissing the entire roster for just 153 runs in the first half of the match, the opening duo of Sharma and KL Rahul amassed 117 runs for the first wicket and both the cricketers managed to surpass the 50-run mark before giving up their wicket.
Now that India’s won the first two matches, they will be playing the third and final match of the series at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on November 21st with the hopes of getting a whitewash against the Kiwis.

It has been a couple of weeks since the Indian cricket team lost to New Zealand in their second match of the T20 World Cup and Virat Kohli had refused to make an appearance in front of the media following the defeat.
Instead, the former Indian skipper in the T20I format had sent his key bowler Jasprit Bumrah to face the heat and was heavily criticised for not being present at the venue to answer the burning questions.

    — Dilse FAN (@dilsefan1) November 1, 2021
A lot has happened since then. Kohli has resigned from his captaincy and has been rested by the selectors. Rohit Sharma has taken over as the new full-time skipper, and the Men in Blue have gained an unassailable 2-0 lead against the Black Caps in the ongoing T20I bilateral series in India.
However, it remains a fact that Kohli has managed to garner some extreme haters during his time at the top and they seem to keep coming back with more criticism and taunts for the batter, even when he is out of action and trying to manage his workload.
    View this post on Instagram
In one such incident lately, Kohli’s absence from the press conference was compared to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual address to the country in which he withdrew the three farm laws and asked the protesting farmers to go home.
PM Modi’s video was considered to be brave and courageous while depicting a strong sense of character on his part as opposed to Kohli, who was criticised for making someone else fall on the sword for his mistakes after the T20 World Cup upset. The only problem was that the Author and Speaker, Shefali Vaidya, who called out Kohli for his lack of courage, had no idea about which conference he had attended and which he did not.
What strength of character must it take to say this? He could have chosen to issue a press release. He could have chosen to let the agriculture minister announce this, like @imVkohli sent Bumrah to face the press after the Pak debacle. But he did NOT! pic.twitter.com/1IttCnZpWF
    — Shefali Vaidya. (@ShefVaidya) November 19, 2021
It didn’t take long for Kohli’s supporters to assemble and call “BS” on the comparison. They also made the world realise that the cricketer was present there for the Press Conference after losing to Pakistan, which had a lot more gravitas to it as compared to the loss to New Zealand.
    A. Virat Kohli himself attended the PC after Pakistan game.
    B. Had he not attended it also, it wouldn't had mean that he sent someone else to throw them under the bus and avoid criticism. He's pretty much a player's captain.
    C. There wasn't even any need to bring Virat here.
    — Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) November 19, 2021What the hell. Virat Kohli went to press conference after that Pakistan game and it was one of the best press of Virat in his career . Who are these people.
    — Kaushik (@_CricKaushik_) November 19, 2021Ye har topic ghum-fir ke Kohli pe kaise chala jata hai?

You need to know that Virat went for the PC himself.

    — Kaushik (@_CricKaushik_) November 19, 2021After being in the bio bubble for the England series, followed by the IPL and then T20 World Cup tournament, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) allowed senior players of the team including Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja some time off the field and, rested them for the T20Is and the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.

The difference between Tinder and Indian matchmaking websites, apart from one platform being honest and the other just shallow, is that on Tinder, people still make room for coming across someone who might or might not be the kind of a person they’d be willing to date. Whereas on matrimonial websites, you HAVE to qualify some bizarre requirements that go up from wanting you to be ‘fair’ to ‘earning less’ than the man.
    © iStock
And while height, weight, complexion were still requirements we’d heard of, the newest requirement that has been grabbing eyeballs is that of a man looking for a bride who falls into a particular bra size, waist size, and even a designated feet size.

No, we are not making this up. Pun intended.
    © Reddit
A screenshot shared by a Reddit user shows a man who has written up the requirements for a prospective partner that wants her attire to be “80% casual and 20% formal”, but with the exception of being willing to wear ‘costumes in bed’.

    via GIPHY
And since the ad also specifies the bra size and other measurements of the woman, we wonder if he was putting out an ad for a partner or an actress for a role to play in his home movies. Not just this, the man went on and on describing his ‘dream woman’ and even the kind of ‘pro-life and liberal’ views she is supposed to have, along with no kids.
Clearly for the guy, finding a life partner was just like placing an order at a restaurant that would custom-make his future wife for him and internet users were dying to break it to the guy, with some hilarious comments to the screenshot.

One user wrote, “This guy wants character customization, not a partner. Good god,” while another one compared his ad to, “This is like ordering a perfectly cooked steak.” Another user highlighted the plight of men as he pointed out the sentiment that many men feel when women ask for 6 ft tall guys.

    © Reddit
    © Reddit
However, there were also a few Reddit users who believed it to be no more than a prank or a sarcastic dig at matrimonial ads, keeping in mind just how unbelievable and bizarre it was in the first place.

Meanwhile, if this is not a joke, we wonder what’s next to make it to the list of requirements? A designated bowel movement chart?
