When it’s about re-engineering running technology, you bet Nike’s cooking up something. The running market is forever growing and Nike leaves no stone unturned to take the lead. The latest offering for runners out of its stable is the Free RN Flyknit. As soon as it came out, we got our hands on a pair and put it to a field test. Should you buy it? Here’s the answer.
It’s Weightless! © YouTube
It’s literally weightless. Yup, as light as a feather, it feels like you are barely dragging a shoe along. The traditional FlyKnit upper combined with the tristar-sole makes it the lightest shoe we have ever reviewed. It’s so light that it wouldn’t be wrong calling them ‘socks’ instead of a shoe.
It’s So Flexible That You Can Roll It Up And Fit It In Your Pocket © YouTube
Nope, we didn’t really do it but if you squeeze it and roll it up on purpose, it might just fit into your pocket. Again, the magic here are the impeccably crafted upper and the foam tri-sole. Th upper is literally strength fiber woven together. We tried twisting and turning it every way possible and it bounced back right back its original form, unscathed.
The Sole © YouTube
The craziest part of this shoe is its sole. It is literally a grid of tri-star chunks of foam perfectly aligned together. The logical behind this new ‘sole construct’ is that it lets the foot move in its natural ‘curve and extend’ movement.
The Run © YouTube
After we were done playing around, we threw them on and hit the tarmac. We essentially ran on the road. Exactly how a lot of runners in India do it. The impact response of the shoe is pretty smooth. Instead of feeling a hard rebound thump on the foot, the sole absorbs the shock pretty effortlessly. There’s just a mere 4 mm drop on the heel on a sole 90% made of foam, so that explains a lot itself.
Buy Or Nah? © YouTube
If you love running, this shoe is for you. It fits like a dream and enhances the running stance. It’s light and looks pretty sturdy. But the interesting part here is that it can also double up as an ‘inside-the-gym’ shoe. Just don’t squat or deadlift wearing running shoes!

Bollywood movies sometimes end up being not as big as one might estimate them to be. In fact, some big-budget movies don’t even get to see the light of the day, and some get shelved mid way. Here are four big budget movies that got shelved and could not release for some weird reasons:
1. DusOne cannot really imagine that a movie starring two mega stars, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, could have been shelved, but it’s true. As per reports, the movie was eighty percent complete but unfortunately the director, Mukul Anand passed away. While that was unfortunate, it is weird that no one from the stakeholders decided to complete and release the movie. The song Suno Gaur Se Duniyawaalon became a huge hit and this film was also supposed to mark the debut of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in the film industry. Funnily, another movie by the same name was released in 2005 and was a big hit.
2. ShoebiteAnother project with a big name like Amitabh Bachchan never saw the light of the day after it got immersed in a legal battle of production companies and story credits between various people. The movie was completed but reportedly was never released due to this legal soup. In fact, Big B had even tweeted and urged the makers to release this movie.
T 2753 - PLEASE .. PLEASE ... PLEASE .. Utv & Disney , or whoever else has it .. Warners , whoever .. JUST RELEASE THIS FILM .. !! lot of hard labour been put in .. don't KILL creativity !! pic.twitter.com/wSlpABMkx6
— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 24, 20183. Munna Bhai Chale AmerikaPost the success of Munnabhai MBBS, the makers decided to make another sequel and even released a small clip for Munnabhai Chale Amerika. Sadly around that time, Sanjay Dutt had to serve a jail sentence and could also not get a visa to shoot in the USA. The movie got shelved and the actor was not replaced.
4. Apna ParayaBack in 1972, Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan got together for this project which got shelved. As per reports, the makers replaced Big B courtesy his streak of flop films. According to IMDb, both the actors had even shot the first schedule of the film. In fact, the title was also changed to Duniya Ka Mela and has Sanjay Khan opposite Rekha, which was a commercial dud.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are finally married and their wedding pictures are nothing short of a scene from a romantic movie. They got married in an intimate wedding ceremony on November 15. The wedding ceremony took place in the presence of the couple’s close friends and family members. They are staying at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort, an 8,000-acre luxury hotel in the Siswan Forest Range, at the foothills of the Himalayas in New Chandigarh. Their pictures show true love and perfectly capture their romance.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa took to their Instagram handles to share the first pictures from their wedding album. Rajkummar captioned the images, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond @patralekhaa (sic).”

Patralekhaa also shared the picture and wrote a beautiful message for the love of her life. She wrote, “"I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate...My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever... @rajkummar_rao (sic).”

Well, their love story didn’t start on a very fairytale note as Patralekhaa judged him from his character he played in his debut movie Love *** Aur Dhokha (LSD).
In one of her earlier interviews to the Humans of Bombay, Patralekhaa revealed how she first perceived of Raj when she first saw him in Love *** Aur Dhokha (LSD). She said, "I thought that the weird guy he played in the film was actually what he was like. My perception of him was already tarnished. He told me later, that he had first seen me in an ad and thought, 'I'm going to marry her'. It was so ironic."
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have never shied away from talking about their love for each other. Now, they are finally married and it’s just surreal to see two all decked up in their wedding outfits.
Isn’t their love story just like a Bollywood movie?

Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is making the cash registers ringing right now. The cop drama helmed by filmmaker Rohit Shetty is an addition to his growing Singham universe. One of the biggest points of criticism that is doing the rounds around the movie is the representation of Muslims in the movie. After much ado about it, Rohit gracefully accepted the question and decided to answer it. He explained that there was no specific thought of choosing a particular narrative.
In a recent interview with The Quint, Rohit Shetty was asked again about the “bad Muslim-good Muslim” narrative in Sooryavanshi, to which he responded sternly. “If I ask you one question - Jaykant Shikre (the antagonist in Singham, essayed by Prakash Raj) was a Hindu, and then came in this universe, a Hindu Godman who was the villain. In Simmba, Durva Yashwant Ranade (played by Sonu Sood) was a Maharashtrian. In these three films, negative forces were Hindu. Why wasn’t that a problem?”
The movie follows a plot line around cops chasing terrorists who are planning an attack on Mumbai with RDX. The antagonists shown in the movie are shown to have crossed borders from Pakistan. “If there is a terrorist who is from Pakistan, what caste will he be? We are not talking about caste”, he added. He further explained that while a lot of people might view it to be a problematic narrative, he never thought of it that way.

“There is a thought with which a film is made. We never thought that way. Why is it being discussed? If we have a sleeper cell then what caste will a sleeper cell be? Why is a bad and good person being linked to caste, when we as makers never thought about it? If it was wrong, everyone would have talked about it...few people are talking, it is their point of view which they need to change, not us,” he said.
