Akshay, who recently saw the release of his Rohit Shetty film Sooryavanshi, had spoken about the teaser for Prithviraj in a press release.
“The teaser of Prithviraj captures the soul of the film, the essence of the life of the legendary warrior Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who knew no fear. This is our tribute to his heroism and his life. The more I read about him, the more I was awed by how he lived and breathed every single second of his glorious life for his country and his values,” he'd said.
“He is a legend, he is one of the bravest warriors and he is one of the most upright kings that our country has ever seen. We hope that Indians worldwide love our salute to this mighty braveheart. We have tried to present his life story in the most authentic way possible and the film is a homage to his unmatched bravery and courage,” added Akshay.
Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie will be released worldwide on January 21, 2022.

If you have been following Rashmika Mandanna on Instagram, you can’t deny that her charm is infectious and fans are in love with her aura. She made her acting debut in 2016 with the Kannada hit Kirik Party. She will soon make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu, a spy-thriller, opposite Sidharth Malhotra. But even though she is yet to make her Bollywood debut, she has already managed to impress fans from North India.
View this post on InstagramYesterday night, Rashmika was spotted at the Mumbai airport in a T-shirt dress along with hot pants and white sneakers. She carried a statement bag from Balenciaga to accessorize her look. She kept her makeup minimal and completed her look with a white face mask.
View this post on InstagramIn no time, her pictures and videos from the airport start to go viral. People on social media brutally trolled her for her airport look. They wrote insensitive comments, bashing her for not wearing full pants.

Recently, she was speaking on the show Swipe Ride wherein she said she appreciates fitness and an ‘extremely ripped’ physique but she is not in favour of men flaunting it online. She called her preferences ‘old school’. “I just don’t understand it. Like I really appreciate guys going and working out and looking extremely ripped and fit. That’s a big ‘Oh yes!’ That shows how dedicated you are. But then again, why would you want to put it as your profile picture? Like, let people get to know you to actually get to that phase where they see your body. I mean, I’m just too old school,” she said.
View this post on InstagramRashmika was also asked if she would date a younger man. “I don’t know, I think for me, they have to make you feel good about yourself. They should not try and change you. All of the small things. I think age doesn’t matter,” she said.
Talking about Mission Majnu, Rashmika had told ANI, “In the first narration itself I knew I wanted to be a part of this film because I knew if not, for now, I’d not have done this character again or later on, it’s one of those roles. It’s a now or never kinda character. Mission Majnu has given me so many firsts - from exploring the northern part of India, the culture, the language, the people, the industry, and working with such a wonderful team and the co-actors. I couldn't have asked for more.”

After India’s disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup, there has been a huge debate around how playing too much cricket proved detrimental to players’ on-field performance.
Many blamed IPL’s poor scheduling for depriving players of proper rest ahead of such a crucial tournament. Things became worse after players and support staff, including head coach Ravi Shastri, publicly acknowledged that ideally they would have liked a bigger gap between the two tournaments as it would have allowed the players to freshen up ahead of the mega event.
© Reuters
That said, Shastri, whose successful tenure with the Indian team came to an end after the completion of the T20 World Cup, strongly believes that IPL is extremely important for the survival of world cricket.
IPL is the biggest and most attractive T20 league in the world and Shastri doesn’t agree with those who portray the cash-rich league as a threat to international cricket. In fact, Shatri is of completely contrasting opinion, he firmly believes that the IPL is the ‘cash-cow’ of world cricket and without it other formats won’t survive.
© Twitter IPL
“I think the IPL is extremely important. I don't care what people think. IPL is the cash cow for your other formats to survive,” Shastri told NDTV in an exclusive interview.
The former all-rounder, under whose tenure India became a force to reckon with not just at home but also away from it, said that money is an important factor that keeps the whole system afloat and without it the whole ship will sink.
“You have got to get that in place and then earn the bucks, get it into the coffers and then spread it around to different formats of the game, at grassroots level, at domestic cricket level, to keep the game alive,” he explained.
© Twitter IPL
In just over14 years, the IPL has become the biggest source of revenue for the Indian cricket board, hence it tried everything in its capacity to make sure that the tournament takes place at all cost.
Apart from making sure that the Indian domestic cricket runs without any hurdle, the IPL money also makes sure that the international cricket runs smoothly as ever.
© Reuters
You see, apart from the BCCI, there are only a handful of countries like England and Australia who can survive on their own, all the other boards rely heavily on the annual grants that they receive from the ICC.
Take for example our neighbours Pakistan, half of their cricket board’s funding comes from the ICC, who gets 90 percent of its revenue from India business houses alone. So, indirectly it is BCCI‘s money which is keeping them from collapsing.
PCB chairman Ramiz Raja told Pakistan’s Senate Standing Committee that Indian business houses in a way run Pakistan cricket and Indian PM Modi has power to ensure collapse of PCB#PakistanCricket #RamizRaja pic.twitter.com/fbpUk2g5Fx
— Zee News English (@ZeeNewsEnglish) October 8, 2021
“PCB is funded 50% by the ICC that is funded 90% by the BCCI or in a way, the Indian business houses are running Pakistan cricket. If tomorrow Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi feels that we won’t provide any funding to Pakistan, then this cricket board can collapse,” the PCB chief Ramiz Raja had said during a Senate Standing Committee meeting last month.
It proves that Shastri’s comments weren’t misplaced when he spoke in favour of the IPL. It’s a lesson for all those people who leave no stone unturned to criticise the lucrative tournament and keep on harping about its consequences on world cricket.

The biggest challenge that 'fitness conscious' people in India have to face, is the inadequate protein content in regular Indian home-made food. While the availability of protein-rich food items is not an issue, incorporating them in daily meals for middle-class households, every single day, can be a challenge.
via GIPHY
It's easy to suggest 'eat chicken and eggs', but it's difficult for the regular Indian households to incorporate them in every meal, especially since a lot of people are vegetarians. But worry not, for here is an easy fix that will sort out your protein woes in a jiffy.
via GIPHY
Simply replace your regular 'atta' or wheat flour (about 13 gm protein/100 gm) with other flours with higher protein percentage to increase protein availability by about double. Here are 3 types of flours that you can use to make your chapatis/rotis/cheelas for protein rich meals, every single time.
1. Besan (Chickpea Flour or Gram Flour) © iStock
Our good old Besan has 22 gm of protein per 100 gm, making it superbly protein rich. Relish your cheelas and besan ki sabzi - maybe even besan laddoos once in a while - knowing that you're getting your dose of protein with every single bite.
via GIPHY
2. Sattu (Roasted Bengal Gram Flour) © iStock
Love your Sattu Ka Paratha? Well we've good news for you, it's not only tasty, but also a super healthy ingredient. Sattu has 22.4 gm of protein per 100 gm. Not a lot of flours come close to it in terms of protein content, making it one of the protein-richest sources when it comes to ingredients of Indian breads.

3. Soya Flour © iStock
Even though soy flour is available in the market and has a high protein content, a better idea is to just grind soya chunks into a fine flour, which gives you an unbelievable 52 gm protein per 100 gm. The only difficulty with this ground soya? It may be difficult to make roti/chapati out of it because it doesn't hold together. So, a good idea is to mix it with other flours such as regular wheat (atta), to make your favourite roti/paratha out of it. The protein content, even with the mix, is off the charts!

Experiment with these flours and say goodbye to your protein woes, forever! You're welcome.

It is said that women are hard to read and harder to please. And as true as that may be, it never hurts to know a few hacks that might just help you win their hearts without so much as breaking a sweat.
You see, the thing about women is that they’re all about the little things in life. They want sweet and romantic gestures, and most of the time that translates into doing something thoughtful and inexpensive as opposed to grand and extravagant. Sending cute good morning and goodnight texts, for instance.
via GIPHY
Not a lot of men know this but women ADORE men who make an effort to send them a text when they wake up and whenever they go to bed. And that makes it your perfect chance to win them over, especially with your nightly texts.
Here are 5 goodnight texts you can send to your crush that will leave them wanting for more the next day.
1) “No wonder I need rest, all that smiling at your texts throughout the day made my jaw hurt” © iStock
What men usually get wrong about flirting is that, 9 out of 10 times, being sweet instead of seductive works much better. Flirty doesn’t always have to be romantic and sensual, sometimes it can be you being kind and appreciative and simply making them smile.
2) “Guess who I will be dreaming about tonight” © iStock
Another great way to end your conversation with your crush at night is to let them know how they’re going to be on your mind, even as you sleep. It makes your interest in them apparent and might just give them something to blush about.
3) “I wish we could stay up all night and talk but we must really get to bed” © iStock
This message needs to be reserved for the times when you’re genuinely struggling with closing eyelids but don’t want to abruptly end the conversation. Tell them how if it were up to you, you’d pull an all nighter, and to make a stronger impact, follow up in the morning with an equally sweet goodmorning text.
4) “I can’t wait to wake up to the thought of your beautiful face” © iStock
Sliding in a subtle compliment with a goodnight text is a recipe for success and a definite smile on your crush’s face. It gives them something cute to remember about you right before they hit the bed and hopefully, even when they wake up the next morning.
5) “Can I call you?” © iStock
This is a personal favorite for me. Why? Because there is nothing better than calling someone and telling them how you just just wanted to hear their voice to put the ‘good’ in goodnight. This one is for the bold types, but quite worth the risk and impressionable in my experience.
