It's Shah Rukh Khan's birthday, and no matter what happens, fans across India and the globe just can't keep calm on this day. The Badshah of Bollywood turns 56 today, and while he may have had a terrible last month, his birthday gift is that his son Aryan Khan is finally reunited with him.

Now, having gone through that, the Main Hoon Na actor has to follow the Parampara of greeting his fans, who are lining right outside his Mannat home to catch a glimpse of him, which has sort of become an annual event now. Well, Let's check out what the fans are up to in these pictures and videos.

    1. Some Fans Gave SRK A Midnight Birthday Wish View this post on Instagram
In a video shared from the Instagram account of Viral Bhayani, many passionate fans could be seen cheering for the superstar at the stroke of midnight right outside his Mannat home. The crowd of enthusiastic fans, however, then had to be moderated by the security personnel outside the house. But you can just see the love right there!
    2. Fans Stand Opposite Mannat at Bandra © Twitter
These fans stood in large numbers with many holding posters of the superstar in hand. While a lot has been said and written about Shah Rukh and his family in the last month or so, it's good to see that King Khan still has an army of fans backing him till the very end.

We clearly don't blame the fans as it really becomes difficult to catch a glimpse of a superstar like Shah Rukh when there are literally thousands of fans gathered in a small area. One man though made the most out of it.

A fan pretending to be Shah Rukh could be seen getting out of the sunroof of a car in a white cap and mask, while hiding his face, making many believe that he was the real Shah Rukh.
No, there is only one Shah Rukh. But full points for the prank!

Two years after announcing his retirement from all forms of cricket, India’s ‘Sixer King’ Yuvraj Singh has decided to come out of his retirement and be back on the cricket field once again.
Taking to Instagram, the southpaw said that he made the decision based on “public demand” and hoped to be back on the pitch in February next year.
    View this post on Instagram
“God decides your destiny !!On public demand il be back on the pitch hopefully in February ! Ain’t nothing like this feeling ! Thank you for your love and wishes mean a lot to me!” Yuvraj wrote on Instagram  while sharing a video of his last international century that he scored against England in Cuttack four years ago.
“Keep supporting it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times,” he added, urging the supporters to back the Men In Blue while they are going through a tough phase in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

After drawing a curtain on his international and IPL career in 2019, Yuvraj played in franchise cricket all over the world. From the Global T20 League in Canada to the Abu Dhabi T10 League in the UAE to the Road Safety World Series in India, the swash-buckling all-rounder kept playing cricket for fun.

But with his latest announcement, the southpaw has sent shockwaves among millions of his fans around the globe. While nobody knew whether he would be available for selection in the Indian team or stick to playing T20 leagues around the world.

His fans were least bothered about the ambiguity around his decision. All they cared about was that their favourite player would be back on the pitch once again, to them it didn’t matter if he wore the Indian jersey or played only in T20 leagues.

Ever since Yuvraj Singh’s retirement, Team India has struggled to find his suitable replacement and this problem has cost India dearly in the last few years and the same is happening in the ongoing T20 World Cup. All the players who have come into the team in the last couple of years have blown hot and cold and haven’t been able to cement their position in the side.

    — Dr. Ashish Belwal (@drsuperstar1680) November 2, 2021The lack of a world-class middle-order batter means that the team relies heavily on its top-order to do the bulk of scoring and whenever they have failed to do so, Team India more often than not has ended up losing the match.
Yuvi’s latest announcement sent the rumour mills into overdrive. Fans started speculating that he wouldn’t have made such an announcement on social media unless he was sure of making a comeback to the Indian team.
What’s going through his mind only he can tell but as fans we are delighted that we will get to see his brilliance on the field for a little longer.

Salman Khan is Salman ‘bhai’ for a reason in B-town. Everyone who is in his close circle has a tale of never ending friendship, loyalty and love to share. He recently showed up like a wall of steel for his fellow colleague and good friend Shah Rukh Khan when the latter was occupied in an emotional turmoil as his son, Aryan Khan was in jail after being caught in a drug scandal.  Salman Khan has been friends with some people in Bollywood for over three decades and one of his oldest and closest friends is director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar.

    View this post on Instagram
Since ‘bhai’s relationship status continues to be a hot topic for everyone, from his family, to friends to his fans, his industry buddies have a slightly more personal take on this situation. In a recent interview, Mahesh spoke about why he wants Salman Khan to get married and how it bothers him a lot. “Sometimes what happens is, there are some things that I can talk to him which normal guy can’t talk. I always feel, even now I feel and tell him also, ‘Salman, tu shaadi nahi karta uska issue hai mere ko (I have an issue with you not marrying).’ I really want… Tomorrow I want to see Salman’s son. I feel I can actually talk to him about that. Half the time he just brushes me aside but I really feel he needs someone to come back to”, he said. He also added that Salman’s big smile actually hides a lot of loneliness. “Sometimes I feel there is, in that whole happy exterior he shows na, sometimes I feel he’s lonely. Ek toh na usko kuch shauk nahi hai bahut (He doesn’t have any desires as such),” he added.

Salman is known to be a rich man who is always helping those in need but Mahesh insists that there’s more to this guy. “Sometimes I really feel that behind this man, itna success hai huge success, uske peeche jo aadmi hai na wo typical middle-class aadmi hai (The man behind the successful facade is a middle-class person). Sometimes I feel he needs someone to come back to because everyone who is with him, his friends, they are all very very good friends. They really love Salman Khan”, he mentioned.

Mahesh is the director of the upcoming movie Antim which stars Salman Khan and his brother-in-law, Ayush Sharma.

Aliens are a phenomenon that has continued to fascinate the majority of the population mainly due to the fact their whole existence remains sort of a mystery. Now, while you may either believe in them or might just take them as a piece of fiction, there is no doubt that Hollywood truly has capitalized on the topic and made some really really cool movies for people to watch.
    © Prime Video
Being a massive fan of the concept of aliens and UFOs myself, I have compiled together a list of the top five Alien movies that you should definitely check out.

    1. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial © Apple TV
Directed by Steven Spielberg, this is a classic alien movie that people from all walks of life, kids or adults should watch. I remember watching it repeatedly on VCDs that I had back when I was a kid.

The movie told the story of a young boy Elliot, who befriends ET, a cute alien, who is stranded on Earth after being left behind by a spaceship. The duo then embarks on a mission to get ET back to his home.
    2. Independence Day © Disney+ Hotstar
This movie still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it, and it's more of an apocalypse movie than just a run-of-the-mill alien invasion movie.

It tells the story of how Aliens arrive on Earth and soon start destroying major cities across the world, forcing the star cast of Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum to take matters into their own hands. It's a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seats, biting your nails till the very end.
    3. Paul © YouTube
This movie is a complete laughter fest and had me in splits throughout its almost 2-hour-long runtime.

Two big comic nerds, Graeme and Clive (Simon Pegg & Nick Frost) take a trip to the US' famed Area 51, where they meet Paul, the coolest alien in the history of alien movies.
Paul would smoke up with you, show you a middle finger, and assist you in getting the girl of your dreams. Just one problem though. He too needs to go back home and Graeme and Clive must evade federal agents to make sure the plan is a success.
    4. Predator © YouTube
This is undoubtedly one of the finest sci-fi/alien movies to be ever made, with the very impressive Arnold Schwarzenegger using his prime physique to battle deadly aliens.

In the movie, Arnold plays Dutch, the leader of an elite paramilitary rescue team, who, on a mission to rescue hostages, witnesses most of his team being brutally killed by a deadly advanced alien species in the middle of a jungle.
    5. Close Encounters of The Third Kind © Columbia Pictures
This Steven Spielberg movie is one of a kind and probably sheds light on what could be the most accurate depiction of aliens or spaceships in the real world. Just like in real life, the governments of major countries deny the existence of aliens, however, aliens make their presence felt to the humans inhabiting the earth.

The movie could probably have the answers that you might have been looking for, in case you were wondering what an alien-human interaction would be like.
These pretty much sum up the list of movies we think you should watch. We'd also like to give a shoutout to Arrival.
If you think we missed out on a movie, do let us know in the comments.

Actor Kartik Aaryan is a talent house who keeps going because deep down he knows it is not his looks or nepotism that pushes him, but probably the sheer love of the audience and his hard work that took him to the top.

After being in the news for being replaced in two big projects with Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment, Kartik is gearing up for some big projects again. He will soon be seen opposite actor Kriti Sanon in Ala Vaikunthapuramloo remake, Shehzada and if reports are to be believed, then the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor is riding high on the cash horse and raking in some well earned moolah.
Kartik is going to get a whopping Rs. 21 crore for this venture as per a Bollywood Hungama report which states "Kartik is slowly taking the stride to be among the top stars of the industry and his remuneration is the right indication of his rising popularity. The young dynamite has charged a huge sum of Rs. 21 crores for this action comedy, which is his highest for a single theatrical film till date”.
    View this post on Instagram
Kartik will step in the shoes of Allu Arjun and this will be his second movie outing with Kriti after Luka Chhupi. Kriti was also in the news recently for buying a Mercedes Maybach for over 2 crores and is apparently moving in a posh, expensive property as well. It's nice to see the self-made stars who make it on their own and own up their craft while being paid what they deserve. Kartik will now be seen in his upcoming Netflix movie Dhamaka and has recently wrapped up shooting for Freddy.

For an Indian cricket fan, the last couple of weeks have been nightmarish. The team has lost its opening two matches against Pakistan and New Zealand and is on the verge of an early exit from the ongoing T20 World Cup.
New Zealand win the game, but #TeamIndia will look to make amends in their next match of the #T20WorldCup. #INDvNZ

    — BCCI (@BCCI) October 31, 2021
No matter how hard we try to defend our players, the truth is that our players have no one else but themselves to blame for their predicament, where they are at the mercy of other teams to stand even an outside chance of making it to the next stage of the competition. And given how highly things are stacked against the Men In Blue, it will be nothing short of a miracle if they qualify.
    © Twitter BCCI
It’s hard to believe that these are the same players who were being hailed as one of the favourites to win the tournament and here they were virtually knocked out of the tournament after just two matches.

Heading into any major event, the expectations are always high from the Indian team because they always impress in the bi-lateral series but when it comes to the major ICC events, for some reason, they fail to deliver the goods.
    © Twitter BCCI
India not just lost the match but they suffered two of their worst defeats in the tournament’s history. Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir, who top-scored for India in the two World Cup finals, feels that the Indian players don’t lack skills but it’s the “mental toughness” that is holding them back.

“This game was literally like a quarterfinal. The problem is with the mental toughness of the side. Suddenly when you know you have got to win the game and can’t make mistakes, in bilaterals it’s different because you can make mistakes there. But in these kind of games, I don’t think India has got that mental strength,” Gambhir said on ESPNCricinfo post-match show.
“They have got the skill and are a very dangerous side. But unfortunately, we can keep talking about it that we need to stand by our team when its not doing well but it’s been a trend and its been happening for a very long time in most of these ICC tournaments, whether it’s the semifinals or the game today as well. When it mattered the most for someone to put his hand up, they just couldn’t,” said the former southpaw.
    © Twitter ICC
More than the defeat, watching the Indian team surrender in front of oppositions has been more demoralising. If they had shown some teeth and challenged the opposition and then went down fighting the defeat wouldn’t have caused this much pain.

India last won an ICC trophy back in 2013 when MS Dhon guided them to the Champions Trophy title. SInce then, it’s been more than eight years but Team India has kept the fans waiting and with each passing year, the patience is starting to run its course.

When I’ve had an unusually long day at work that wears me out, or a fight with my partner that went out of control, or simply struggle to harbour my emotions - I sit back and listen to Sadhguru videos/podcasts for a good 10-15 minutes.
Listening to Sadhguru is like meditation, like a balm for panic-stricken thoughts. He’s reached a level of enlightenment where his body, mind and spirit are in symphony.
    Instagram: Sadhguru
The best part - he’s sharing his wisdom with people across the world, helping us control our emotions and make them work to our advantage.

Here are 5 teachings by Sadhguru that inspired me to look at the bigger picture, and become my best version:
    1) Wounded Or Wise?“I performed miserably at the presentation. I’m so unlucky. I wish I had a family business I could just take over, all this hustle is draining me out…”
Ever blamed your surroundings or background for a situation that went downhill?
Well, Sadhguru believes that if you’ve tackled a lot of adversities, you should be the wisest of the lot. But instead of collecting wisdom, most people choose to become wounded.
It is truly possible to use every situation in life as an opportunity to grow. But if you keep blaming your circumstances on external factors, you’re simply taking opportunities to self-destruct and stagnate.
    2) What Is Love?A lot of us harbour skewed conceptions of love - our partner's ideology should be just like ours, we should like doing a lot of similar things, they should fit in our version of a “perfect fairy tale”.
    iStock
Here’s something profound that Sadhguru said about love - For most people, love means, ‘You must do what I want.’

No, love means they can do what they want, and we still love them.
    3) Don’t Be Quick To Blame “Destiny”Whether it is success or failure, it’s absolutely unjustified to credit it to “destiny”. Everything is a result of our actions and reactions.
    Instagram: Sadhguru
In his book on Inner Engineering, Sadhguru writes, “Whenever we have had to do something about our lives, we have taken it into our hands. Whenever it comes to other people’s misfortunes, we have a word to explain it: destiny. And what a convenient word that is. Destiny has become a popular scapegoat, a way to deal with failure, a fatalistic ruse to reconcile ourselves to all kinds of uncomfortable situations. But turning inward is the first step from passivity to agency—from being a victim toward becoming a master of your own destiny.”

    4) You Can’t Change The World “I want to change you - that is not a revolution. I’m willing to change - now this is a revolution.” - Sadhguru.
We must make peace with the fact that we can’t change your family, your friends or even your spouse. The only person you are in charge of is YOU.
    iStock
The problem with today’s world is that we are quick to point out what should change in the world, but don’t want to change ourselves.

It’s time to take charge of our lives, quit making that boyfriend a better person, and focus on becoming the best version of ourselves.
    5) Our Reaction To Situations Determines Our So-Called ‘Destiny'On Russell Brand’s podcast ‘Under The Skin’, Sadhguru discusses how we’re not shaped by external influences, but by life itself.
“Whether we want to be a conscious response to everything that's around us or want to be a compulsive reaction to all that happens around is the question you’re asking, and I think the answer is pretty obvious”, he said.
All the right answers are within us, all the acidic remarks are within us and so is the good sense to pick the right response. How we react to situations decides how life pans out for us.
    Luminary
In this 1-hour-10-minute podcast on Luminary, Russell Brand and Sadhguru discuss human consciousness, inner engineering, spiritual practices and his initiatives.

In this podcast series, Russell Brand aims to examine what’s beneath the surface of the people we admire and idolise. Guests from the realms of academia, pop culture and arts make the podcast well-rounded!
While we 10/10 recommend the Sadhguru episode, there are other guests too who shared life-altering anecdotes and lessons - one’s that we must try replicating.
A few of our favourite podcast guests (apart from Sadhguru) include Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Brene Brown.
Intrigued much? Click here to explore the various episodes of “Under The Skin” by Russell Brand on Luminary. Happy listening, folks!
