It's been more than two years since we witnessed the end of an era, of what was one of the most memorable runs of Marvel Studios' Avengers franchise, with the release of Avengers: Endgame. The movie kept everyone at the edge of their seats as much beloved characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor & others finally took on Thanos to change the outcome of the universe and the great wipeout.
    © Marvel Studios
Avengers: Endgame was memorable for plenty of reasons, with one being that a lot of the heroes were finally calling it a day from the superhero franchise, and also with the way they were bidding farewell. While the former Captain America AKA Steve Rodgers could be seen saying goodbye to the famous Captain America shield, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark AKA Iron Man, unfortunately, ended his journey by dying in the film.

    © Marvel Studios
Now, it was no ordinary death, as he sacrificed himself for the greater good and for the world, in what could be labeled as one of the most iconic superhero movie scenes or even film scenes in recent history. Without a doubt, it took an emotional toll on a lot of moviegoers who could be seen wiping away tears as they bid farewell to the character of Iron Man, who was the first to kick off the unbelievably successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, did you know that this iconic scene was not even meant to take place? Yes! According to the makers of the film, Iron Man's scene where he snaps his fingers by saying, “I am Iron Man,” after Thanos declares, “I am inevitable," almost did not happen.
    © Marvel Studios
Why? Well, because of Robert Downey Jr.

Marvel CEO Kevin Feige and Anthony Russo explained the reason behind Robert not being ready to do the scene in the new book, The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
    © Reuters
“Robert was telling me, when he found out that we wanted to come back and shoot a new version of, arguably, the most emotional shot, at first, he didn’t want to do it,” said Kevin. “I mean, it’s not the kind of thing you dial up and dial down very easily. So, yeah, it was challenging for Robert to have to readdress it,” he added.

He says that it was difficult for Robert as it was a truly emotional scene, however, they somehow convinced him to do the scene.
“It was hard for him to understand, specifically, where we were with the storytelling. When you’re in the editing room, working every day with the material, you have a depth of understanding of it. You’ve explored it in every possible way. It doesn’t mean a new idea can’t hit you. By that point, we were really sure what [the scene] needed,” said Kevin.
Well, the rest as you know, is history, and because of that powerful scene, Iron Man AKA Tony Stark AKA Robert Downey Jr. exited the MCU in what could be the most legendary way possible, leaving a massive void behind.
I am sure, if we asked Robert, he'd agree that it was indeed the right call as it made his legacy untouchable in the superhero cinematic genre forever. Anyway, you can check the iconic scene here just to see how impactful it really was.

Don't know about you, but it still gives me goosebumps.

The first time Pakistan and India played against each other in a World Cup was way back in 1992 and it took the Men In Green almost two decades to register their first victory over their arch-rivals in the World Cup.
Record breakers @iMRizwanPak and @babarazam258 posted the highest first-wicket partnership in Men's #T20WorldCup history in #Pakistan's momentous win

India are still unbeaten against Pakistan in the 50-over World Cup, winning seven matches in a row but their winning run in the T20 World Cup came to an end on Sunday at the Dubai International cricket stadium when Babar Azam’s side registered a massive 10-wicket victory.

The Pakistani fans had waited for this occasion for a long time and given how their players performed on the night they deserved to win.
While Pakistani cricketers brought a smile on the faces of their fans, their ministers brought shame to the country by giving a hateful speech in which he mixed cricket with religion and dragged the Indian muslims into it.
Instead of congratulating the Babar Azam-led side on their historic win, Pakistan’s minister Sheikh Rasheed gave a shameful speech and described their cricket team’s win as the “victory of Islam”.

He further said that for them this was their final and “muslims all over the world, including Indian muslims, were rooting for Pakistan’s victory.”
Statements like these clearly expose Pakistan’s bigotry. On one hand the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja says that cricket should be kept away from politics and, on the other hand, one of their politicians is spewing hatred by dragging religion into the game.

His statement agitated Indian fans and they took to the micro-blogging site to set him straight. Even Indian muslims slammed him for spreading hatred and using a game of cricket to fulfill his political agenda.

Pak Home Minister @ShkhRasheed is mentally bankrupt. Emotions of #IndianMuslims r not with #PakCricketTeam at all. #Pak victory against #Ind in a cricket match is not victory of #IslamicWorld. For the fans of Kangana Ranaut, it’s time to celebrate and rejoice as their favourite actress has won the fourth National Award. She won the Best Actress Award for her performances in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Panga. She previously won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Fashion and Best Actress Awards for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi traced the journey of the heroic Rani Laxmibai, who fought against the British during India's first war of independence in 1857. Kangana played the role of Rani Laxmibai and has always been proud of the fact that she has represented Indian culture and heritage in mainstream cinema. In Panga, Kangana plays the role of Jaya who’s a kabbadi player, a railway employee, a wife, a mother, and much more. She is stuck with the household duties but yearns to get back to the game.
Both the movies received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. And now that she has won a National Award for these movies, people have been sharing their opinions on social media. Trolls have been bashing her as they feel she didn’t deserve the award and also added these awards are rigged. One of the users wrote that she should be awarded for her constant rants on Twitter and Instagram.
Here’s how the trolls are bashing her:

We wonder how Kangana would react to this hate.

After winning the award, she took to Instagram to share several pictures and wrote, “We all grow up with a deep desire to be worthy of our parents' love, care, and sacrifices. After all the troubles I give my mummy papa such days seem to make up for all those mischiefs. Thank you for being my mummy papa I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

India’s famed opening pair of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul failed to impress in their T20 World Cup encounter against rivals Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Rohit was dismissed for a golden duck after being trapped in front by Shaheen Afridi in the first over while Rahul was cleaned up by a brilliant in-swinging delivery by the Pakistani left-arm pacer in his next over.

After the match, the images of KL Rahul’s dismissal went viral on social media as fans claimed it should have been called a no ball but the TV umpire made a huge mistake.
The screenshots which are being circulated online show Afridi’s front foot beyond the popping crease with the ball still in hand. Looking at the pictures, the fans were convinced that Rahul was declared out on an illegal delivery.
They took to the micro-blogging site and slammed the International Cricket Council (ICC) for poor umpiring and conspiring against India.

    — Siva Arun (@SivaArun5397) October 24, 2021But was it really a no ball?
Upon looking at replays, one can clearly see that at the time of landing some part of Afridi’s front foot was actually behind the line and as per rules that is all that matters and the third umpire was right in not calling it a no ball.
As far as the screenshots are concerned, it is natural for any fast bowler’s front foot to skid off after landing and the same happened on this occasion with Afridi. The screenshots which are being circulated online are clearly misleading as they don't take into account the first point of contact.

Each one of us who follows cricket passionately is disappointed with the loss but rather than finding an excuse and blaming others for our defeat, we should respect that the opposition played better cricket than us and thoroughly deserved to win the game.

Blaming the umpires and the match referee makes us look like sour losers. We should not lose our faith in our players because we know how talented they are and they will be wager to bounce back strongly in the upcoming matches.
    © Twitter BCCI
We must remember what Kohli said after the match, losing to Pakistan is not the end, it was just the opening match and there is a whole tournament left in front of us.
