The much-awaited match between India and Pakistan ended on a disappointing note, with the Men in Blue losing by 10 wickets in their first game of the T20 World Cup. In India, cricket is not a game but religion and people donβt know how to handle loss gracefully so they find people connected to the players to blame. Anushka Sharma has always been blamed for Virat Kohliβs dull performance in the game and this time was no exception.Β
View this post on InstagramWhen India lost to Pakistan, people dragged her and left no opportunity to muck dirt on her. They blamed her for the loss and it was disgusting to see how people asked for proof of if she observed Karvachauth that day or not. They even went on to say that Virat blindly follows her and shouldnβt do the same. One of the users wrote, βHow to change and advice bowlers not to bowl short length is something you should learn first...Don't do Activism, your communist @AnushkaSharma wife is woke, don't follow her.βΒ
Another user wrote, β@AnushkaSharma you are bad luck to Kohli. After you came to his life, his performance has gone down and your leftist mindset (got from Khans to get movie). Please give him a divorce for the sake of India.β
Hereβs how people trolled Anushka:

These hate comments for Anushka are extremely insensitive and totally uncalled for. We wonder how low is low? She is simply being trolled for being Viratβs wife and this is not okay.
This is sadly not the first time that Anushka has had to put up with the unfortunate trolling when Kohliβs performance has not been up to the mark in a game. From calling her a bad omen to golden duck, people have done it all to bash her and itβs high time this stops.
Back in 2016, Virat blasted the trolls for targeting Anushka for his bad performance. He had written, βShame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was a long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don't need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public. #nocompassion#nocommonsense.β

There are two kinds of fitness enthusiasts, first are the health-conscious people who workout to remain healthy and the second are the weight-conscious people who sign up for various diet fads and workout only to lose weight.Β
Well, the latter is a category thatβs obsessed with the weighing machine. And that obsession grows manifolds in the festive season. Why? The festive season calls for liberal indulgence in sweets, drinks and food, compelling the weight-conscious lot to end up on the weighing scale every day, sometimes more than once in a day.
I mean, Pooja, whatβs this obsessive behavior?
Is it a healthy practice to weigh yourself every day? Or after every meal? Would weighing yourself time and time again zap off those calories fast? Here we list down seven such weight measuring mistakes that you must be commiting and should avoid.Β
Right After Working OutΒ Done running on the treadmill? Tempted to hop onto the weighing machine next? Please, donβt.Β Β
When you exercise, your body loses a lot of water in the form of sweat, thus lowering the scales by a kilo or two if you measure right after a rigorous workout. So, never get too excited just because you were a kilo lesser on the scale after your crossfit workout session yesterday. Your body is likely to be inadequately hydrated.Β
However, if you are following the practice of weighing both before and after every workout, then it is fine.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2716__
Weighing Yourself On Different ScalesAn important rule if you are keeping a tab on the losses and gains in your weight is to weigh yourself on the same scale every timeβpreferably the one at your home.Β
Even if a scale isnβt properly calibrated, you would still know the changes that are happening in your weight. Relying on a friendβs weighing machine or the one at the gym may show your different, wavering readings.Β
__ECOMPRODUCT__2717__
At Different Times Of The DayIt shouldnβt only be the same scale but also the same time of the day, preferably mornings, when you weigh yourself. Never weigh after you have had dinner or binged on fried snacks, you tend to be at your heaviest at night, once you are done with all the meals for the day! Try to weigh yourself first thing in the morning, empty stomach.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2473__
With Your Shoes & Jacket OnΒ A light T-shirt or a pair of joggers may not make much of a difference but if you have just got back home from the gym, remove those extra layers of clothing and shoes before stepping on the weighing scale. Wear as little as possible or similar kind of clothing each time you weigh yourself for more accurate measurements.
__ECOMPRODUCT__2718__
When You Are AnxiousIf the thought of stepping on the weighing scale makes you anxious, best is to avoid it. The guilt of weighing more may hinder your growth to achieving a certain weight number. However, it is advisable to remain within a weight range rather than sticking to a particular number. A variation of about 2 to 3 kilograms is okay. The changes could be due to water retention or the kind of diet you had.
Consider having lemongrass green tea to remain de-stressed and aid your weight-loss journey.Β
__ECOMPRODUCT__2719__
The BottomlineIt is far more important to be healthy, feel good about yourself and be happy with the way you look than to stress too much about achieving a certain weight number. Weighing yourself day in and day out will bring more stress than helping your weight-loss process. Weighing yourself once or twice a week is ideal and should keep you motivated.Β Β

After Pakistan broke their World Cup jinx against India that lasted nearly two decades, experts around the world are busy finding faults in the game plan that led to the downfall of Virat Kohli and his team.Β
Some are targeting the Indian batters for their miserable outings, others are questioning Indian bowlers after they failed to cause any trouble to the Pakistani openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan and went wicketless in the whole match.
View this post on Instagram
Going into the match India had high hopes from their mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy but, like other bowlers, couldnβt create even a half chance during the match as both Babar and Rizwan dealt with his variations unharmed.
Pakistani spinners Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan conceded runs at less than a run a ball in their spell whereas Chakaravarthy went for over four runs an over in his four-over spell.

Reacting to his performance, former Pakistan opener Salman Butt trolled the Indian bowler saying that he βmay be a mystery bowlerβ but he was no surprise to their openers because most kinds in Pakistan play tape ball cricket and bowl these kinds of variations these, hence their batsmen were habitual of playing this kind of bowling from a young age.
Hereβs what he said:
βVarun Chakaravarthy may be a mystery bowler but he was no surprise to us. Kids in Pakistan play a lot of tape ball cricket. Every kid in Pakistan grows up facing this kind of bowling in street cricket, where bowlers do the finger tricks with the ball and try different variations,β Butt said on his YouTube channel.
He then gave an example of how former Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis, who troubled a lot of batters in the early part of his career, had a dismal record against Pakistan and after one point they stopped playing him against Pakistan.
Β© Twitter KKR
βAt the start of his career, Sri Lankaβs Ajantha Mendis also troubled a lot of teams with his mystery element. But his record against Pakistan isnβt great. After a while, Sri Lanka stopped playing him against Pakistan. We have never found any mystery in mystery bowling because we have grown up playing such kind of bowlers,β said the former Pakistan skipper, who was banned for life for indulging in spot-fixing.
βI donβt think India will play Chakaravarthy against Pakistan again and, if they do, expect the result to be the same. Just by looking at someone like Varun, Pakistanβs batters can figure out whether the ball is going to come in or go out. Whoever, the Indian analyst is, perhaps he wasnβt aware of the fact that the one who introduced mystery spin in world cricket, Mendis, wasnβt successful against Pakistan at all,β he added.

Buttβs comments didnβt strike the chord with the Indian fans and they took to the micro-blogging site to criticise the southpaw for his arrogance. No doubt, Pakistan have started their campaign with a massive win but that doesnβt guarantee them anything as yet.
Ek jeet itni hawabaji just Pakistan thing!
β Ishu (@alone_walker07) October 25, 2021Once you win, all your statements will seem valid.

β Praveen (@PraveenIN12345) October 25, 2021After their historic win, the Pakistani experts have every right to praise their team but pulling an opposition player down canβt be justified. He must get off his high horse as the whole tournament is still to be played, unless of course if Butt actually believes what their interior minister Sheikh Rasheed said βfor us it was our finalβ.

From a lanky guy in Masaan to a muscular army man in Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky KaushalΒ has come a long way and has proven his mettle with powerful performances. His recent outing Sardar Udham has been appreciated by viewers and critics alike. People loved the strong performances by the actors, besides Shoojit Sircarβs direction, and even gave a big thumbs up to the cinematography of the movie.
The movie traces the life story of the freedom fighter who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer, who was the Governor of Punjab when the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place in 1919. The movie also stars Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu, and Kirsty Averton in pivotal roles and Amol Parashar in a special appearance.
Just a few days ago, we got to know that Sardar Udham starring VickyΒ in the titular role has been sent for the nomination of Indiaβs official entry to Oscars along with Vidya Balanβs Sherni but sadly, itβs out of the race now. Moreover, the reason given by the jury has offended the viewers who are now voicing their opinions on social media.
View this post on Instagram
As the 94th edition of the Academy Awards is gearing up to take place on March 27, 2022, the jury came to the decision that Sardar Udham wonβt be part of the race and will not be getting the chance to feature at Oscars 2022. Speaking to Times of India, jury member Indraadip Dasgupta said that the film βportrays our hatred towards the British.βΒ
He said, βSardar Udham is a little lengthy and harps on the Jallianwala Bagh incident. It is an honest effort to make a lavish film on an unsung hero of the Indian freedom struggle. But in the process, it again projects our hatred towards the British. In this era of globalization, it is not fair to hold on to this hatred.βΒ
View this post on Instagram
Another member of the jury, Sumit Basu said, βMany have loved Sardar Udham for its cinematic quality including camerawork, editing, sound design and depiction of the period. I thought the length of the film was an issue. It has a delayed climax. It takes a lot of time for a viewer to feel the real pain for the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.βΒ
People are angry and are not okay with this decision. One of the users wrote, βOther nations build memorials to remember their freedom fighters, while Hindustani can't even send movies related to their freedom fighters to Oscars.β Another wrote, βWhat nonsense is this? Hatred towards British? Killing people for no reason just to suppress the revolutionary thoughts is HATRED. And, showcasing those atrocities is so right for the next generation to know.βΒ Β Β
