    Who doesn’t love a good looking mean machine? While it's everyone's dream to probably roll some wheels in a Lamborghini of their own, your materialistic desires are tickled when you see your favourite star drive an expensive car.     1. Lamborghini GallardoEveryone’s favourite Baahubali Prabhas indulged in some major shenanigans earlier this year when he purchased a Lamborghini Gallardo worth 6 crores on his dad’s birthday. The actor already owns a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Jaguar XLR amongst other mean machines.

    2. Lamborghini Urus Graphite EditionSuperstar Jr. NTR decided to invest over Rs 3 crore on customising his graphite black edition of a swanky Lamborghini Urus Capsule. Oh also, he reportedly bought his choice of number plate for over Rs 17 lakhs.

    3. Mercedes Maybach GLS 600Actor and producer Ram Charan spent a whopping Rs 4 crore on his customised Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 and joined the Maybach club which includes names like Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.

    “You’re so amazing, then why are you still single?” 
    If words ever had to be substituted for a bullet, this particular line would manage to tear right through most people’s hearts, because this statement has single handedly destroyed the peace of mind of several single people out there. Simply by implying that you can’t be nice and single at the same time.

    And because society has made something as personal as our relationship status into a parameter to judge us on, suddenly being single isn’t cool anymore. The reason why everytime someone asks us why we’re single, it feels like a slap in the face, can be a mix of a lot of things that have gotten to us over time. 
    Here are some of them that contribute into making us feel bad for being single, but shouldn’t -
    1) You Feel You’re Unworthy Of Love Unless You’re Dating © iStock
    It’s a common thought that has a reputation of creeping up on you in the wee hours of the night. But is it even true? Just because you’re single right now does not mean you don’t deserve love or are unlovable. It’s just about striking the right connection with someone and until then don’t fail to acknowledge the love you might receive from other relationships in your life. 

    2) You Feel You’re At An Age Where You Should Be Settled © iStock
    Another idea embedded into our head, thanks to the society, which has conveniently decided for others by when they should get married and have kids. Always remember, you can’t put a clock on finding love. It’ll come when it has to and it’s okay if it isn’t right after college or even in your 20s. Don’t feel pressured to date someone only to please the society. There is no hard and fast rule when it comes to matters of the heart.

    3) You Feel Like You’re Lagging Behind In Comparison To Your Friends © T-Series
    It is but natural to feel the urge to compare how your life is going in regard to your friends’. It doesn’t have to mean that you’re being envious of them but just that sometimes when you see your friends enjoying something and someone special in their life, you are bound to wonder how it would be to have that experience too. But at no point should you let yourself believe that there needs to be a competition.

    Someone who might not feel bad about being single, because let's face it- it is one of your most free and exciting years, can be easily made to feel like a loser thanks to social media. With photoshopped and staged pictures of couples, we are made to believe that everyone apart from us is committed, happy and living their best lives. However, don’t be fooled because all that glitter is never gold.

    Society may have conditioned you to believe that only those people who have a partner are making it in life or are successful, but you’d be mistaken. Being in a relationship doesn’t define how accomplished you are, your state of mind, your experiences and your achievements do that. Being committed isn’t an accomplishment, it is a choice. So don’t let yourself believe you can’t be happy if you’re single. Especially since lots of people in relationships are deeply unhappy and those who are single might be living their best life. Don’t go by stereotypes.

    It’s a feeling like no other: jealousy. It starts slowly and then all of a sudden like water kept on a boil, rises up and takes over you. There is uneasiness, anxiety, almost like an itch you feel the constant need to scratch but you can’t. But that isn’t the most frustrating thing about being jealous. What is, is that you seldom have control over it.

    And one of the reasons why you may have this feeling wash over you stronger than others could be your zodiac sign which may have a few cosmic traits owing to it. 
    Here are a few zodiac signs that are known to get super jealous super fast.

    The thing about people with this zodiac sign is that they might not get jealous in the most conventional way. Because they are so critical of themselves and to the level that nothing that they do or already have makes them feel better, they feel jealous of other people having made it in life.     The last couple of years haven’t gone as planned for Hardik Pandya. Ever since his back operation, he hasn’t been able to get to the same level as before and going into the T20 World Cup, his fitness is a big concern for Team India.
    The all-rounder had a horrid outing in the just-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, where he didn’t bowl a single delivery and could only manage 127 runs in 12 matches, including an unbeaten 40.

    His lean patch has stretched for far too long than he would have liked it to but he knows how to make a grand comeback, especially after being discarded by everyone. This was not the first time Hardik was going through a difficult phase in his international career. When he was banned from making sexist comments on a talk show, many people thought he was done but he proved them wrong by winning a Player of the tournament trophy Down Under, dominating the series with only one half of his skill-set.

    In such difficult times, there are only a few individuals who know how to motivate a player and lend you their shoulder to cry on and for Hardik that individual has been former India skipper and the current mentor of Team India MS Dhoni.

    During an interview with Cricket Monthly, Hardik opened up about his special bond with the CSK skipper and how he stood by him in his tough phase and helped him like an elder brother.

    To highlight the man’s greatness, Hardik shared an incident from their New Zealand tour. When he was picked in the Indian team in January 2019 for the New Zealand tour after he had served his short ban, he was told that there were no rooms available in the hotel.

    When Dhoni, who was the senior-most member in the whole squad, came to know about this problem, conveyed the message that he would sleep on the floor and Pandya could take his bed.

    “MS was someone who understood me from the start: how I function, what kind of a person I am, what are the things I don't like, everything” Hardik said in an interview.

    “When I was picked for the New Zealand series [in January 2019, after the suspension was revoked], initially there were no hotel rooms [for Pandya in New Zealand], But then I get a call, saying, “You just come. MS has told us, 'I don't sleep on the bed [in any case]. He will sleep on my bed and I will sleep on the floor.’” He [Dhoni] was the first person who has been always there,” he added, explaining the deep understanding that he has with the modern-day legend.

    From sacrificing his hotel bed for a fellow player to praising his opponents’ efforts, there have been numerous instances which prove how selfless of a cricketer he is. It’s a shame that despite all this some keyboard warriors still don’t miss out on any opportunity to call him a credit stealer.

    Despite his injury concern, Hardik has been named in India’s 15-member squad for the 2021 T20 World Cup and if there is one person who could bring out the best out of him then it’s Dhoni. 

    As Indian cricket team fans we hope that Dhoni’s words do its magic and Hadik lights up the tournament, if not with his bowling than with his explosive batting.

    If you're one of those people who still haven't watched Netflix's 'Squid Game', the runaway superhit show that's making the rounds on social media as well as in our collective psyche because of how unique it is, you're missing out big time.

    Apart from the fact that it has emerged as one of Netflix's most viewed shows of all time, the little quirks here and there intertwined among the storyline are what make it the hit that it is.

    However, there is one more thing that the makers sneakily inserted, that is blowing the minds of art enthusiasts. They managed to include four hidden art references in the series that are obvious but elusive at the same time. Take a look!
    1. 'The Scream' by Edvard Munch (1893) © Netflix, Wikipedia
    The Dinner Party is an installation artwork by feminist artist Judy Chicago. Widely regarded as the first epic feminist artwork, it functions as a symbolic history of women in civilization. There are 39 elaborate place settings on a triangular table for 39 mythical and historical famous women. Sacajawea, Sojourner Truth, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Empress Theodora of Byzantium, Virginia Woolf, Susan B. Anthony, and Georgia O'Keeffe are among the symbolic guests. It was featured during the last dinner scene with the three finalists before the final task.

    3. The Rothschild Surrealist Ball (1972) © Netflix, The Rake
    According to The Rake, "few parties are genuine works of art, but the Rothschilds’ 1972 ball sounds and looks like it came close. Semi-curated by the founder of surrealism and played out by the leading ladies of the day, it was (like Buñuel’s seventies films) a self-satirising social labyrinth, a Garden of Earthly Delights in a secret forest, endless immersive theatre avant la lettre." As soon as you see the 8th episode with the VIPs, it will be evident what the makers were referring to. Disturbing? Yes. Impressive? YES!

    4. Relativity by M. C. Escher (1953) © Netflix, Wikipedia
    Relativity is a lithograph print by the Dutch artist M. C. Escher, first printed in December 1953. The first version of this work was a woodcut made earlier that same year. It depicts a world in which the normal laws of gravity do not apply. The architectural structure seems to be the centre of an idyllic community, with most of its inhabitants casually going about their ordinary business, such as dining. There are windows and doorways leading to park-like outdoor settings. All of the figures are dressed in identical attire and have featureless bulb-shaped heads. The internal structure of the facility where the games are being held, is modelled on the same.
