Ever since Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB in connection with the possession of drugs at a raid, it has become one of the most debated issues on the internet. People are divided into two sections, one being the supporters and the others who are brutally bashing the star’s family.
SRK has found support from his industry colleagues like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Pooja Bhatt, Farah Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and others. Now, Vishal Dadlani has also come forward to support SRK and his family amid this difficult time. Vishal took to Twitter to bash people who are attacking SRK and said his family is being used as a soft target for distracting people from the 3000kgs Adani drug case.
He tweeted, “If Composers count, I am. SRK and his family are being used as a smokescreen, a soft target to distract from the 3000kg Talibani-drug haul at the Adani port, and to distract from the murder of farmers by the son of a BJP member/MLA. Straight-up.”

After his tweet started to get traction, people started to troll him for defending Aryan who’s a negative influence on the country’s youth. One of the users wrote, “I think its time you admit that you are given money by opposition to make statements like this so as to get the govt guilty even if they are not on every single step. Gane banane aye the ab toh politician hi bangye wah wah!!” Another wrote, “Dadlani ji, Range hatho pakda gaya hai..Court ne bhi bail reject kar di hai..abhi bhi aapko lagta hai saajish hai..Grow up..and accept the facts. Kuch Kashmir ke target killing par bhi boliye na..waha saap soongh jata hai kya.”

Here’s how people reacted to his statement:

Apart from Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and another accused, Munmun Dhamecha, were arrested on Saturday by the NCB officials. As per a report in Times Of India, the NCB alleged that they had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy), and Rs 1.33 lakh in the raid.

NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede earlier told PTI, “Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan is being questioned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in its Ballard Estate office at south Mumbai. He was on a cruise ship where agency raided in the night and busted rave party.”

Three years ago, we all woke up to disturbing news that left all of us stunned and made us question all the beliefs of society. 11 members of the Chundawat family were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their home in Burari, New Delhi. Netflix has come up with a documentary based on these deaths titled House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths. If you have seen it, you would agree with us that it would have left you with anxiety and unanswered questions that were enough to keep you awake during the night.
As we have seen the documentary, we can tell you that the access that the filmmaker Leena Yadav had to all the sources that were connected to these deaths is expansive and she chose to divulge into all the theories that were floating around on the internet about their deaths. She also focused on how the media handled the case. She also showed the perspective of the policemen who were investigating the case. The Police officials were under a lot of stress and pressure as this had become a very high-profile case. The Chief Minister himself went to the scene to get a ground report.

In the documentary, you will get to see how police got hold of the registers from the house that showcased the family has been blinding believing one man in the house, Lalit, who was the mastermind of all the things that mysteriously happened in the household. For 11 years, Lalit was making the family do questionable things as he believed his deceased father used to guide him.
The people who have watched the show have been sharing their opinions on social media. The viewers have shared how the documentary is not for people who can’t digest the gory details and how it has impacted the psyche of people who have watched the show.

In a conversation with Hindu, she shared, “This particular case really got my attention. I wanted to know the why and how of it, and I was not satisfied with the information around me. So when Netflix asked if I had a subject for a documentary in mind, this was on the top of my list. I wanted to investigate it myself as this case has so many layers and we haven’t learnt about a single one yet.”

She went on to add, “I have tried to evolve my own style of a documentary telling in House of Secrets. The subject defines the style, and I find that when the visual language, the edit, and the structure serve the telling of the story, it elevates the experience.”
Elaborating on the challenges she faced during the shoot, she said, “We [Indian society] are not very aware of documentaries, and as we genuinely live by the rule ghar ki baat ghar mein hee rehni chahiye [private matters should remain within the four walls of the house], getting people to open up was a bit difficult. But the fact is that people also want to talk about it. Additionally, it was a very emotional subject at various levels. It was painful — especially interviewing the friends and family — but the lessons learnt were many.”
The documentary went on air on October 8 and is worthy of your time and attention.
