'Pathaan' is all set to release worldwide on January 25 -
Welcome to a new day and age where relationship trends change faster than our cell phone brands and new bitter ways of hurting people emerge as fastidious trendsetters. From mooning to breadcrumbing to even cushioning and ghosting, we've established new ways in which we can make people feel horrible about themselves, making relationships superficial and momentary! Whatever happened to old school ways of breaking someone's heart? Where two people involved, would spend nights on end, lamenting the loss and using terms of endearment to address the situation at hand.

Don't be sick and tired of new dating trends just yet though. We have a brand new one doing the rounds these days and it's called 'stashing'. Stashing, when looked up on Websters, is defined as 'something safely stored in a secret place'.
Now you really don't have to be Einstein to figure what it means contextually in a relationship. You've just entered a relationship. It's been declared as 'official' already and you spend a lot of time together. Everything is going well until you suddenly realise, well, things are really not going too well! Your SO has been introduced to everyone you know in you social circle. From your friends to your parents to even your cleaning lady and your dog but you haven't met a single person from her life or her social circle yet! Well, you're being stashed, my friend and it is not even remotely pleasant!
What's the first cardinal rule of new-age dating? Social media, duh! If you're not up on social media posts and pictures it's not really dating, you see! The timely declaration of each others love is first seen on the likes of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. and if you haven't been tagged in a picture, a post or the revolutionary 'relationship status update' yet, you're on your way to being stashed! It's your girlfriend's idea of keeping her relationship hidden and living like she's still single. The fact is- no one in her life or social circle knows about you and the sad part is, no one ever will. I mean if it had to happen, it would in the first few weeks itself, wouldn't it?
There could be numerous reasons as to why you're being stashed. The two we can definitely pin-point for you are either she's dating other people and hasn't told you about them or she's embarrassed of you and is probably sticking by because the *** is good, or you're a hard-working (or not) rich man. Ether way, if you haven't even been introduced to her friends, the relationship looks quite bleak, I'll have you know! You're probably her little secret (dirty or not) and her idea of a date with you is either sitting at home and ordering greasy Chinese food or going out to a remote dhaba and eating a plate of desi noodles, over a conversation. Sounds familiar?
By actually avoiding public confrontations about your presence in their lives, stashers get away guilt-free, without having to explain their behaviour and indulge in living the single life, with the perks of a relationship. Even if you call them out on their behaviour, their classic response would either be 'it's too soon to introduce you to anyone' or 'why are you so concerned about social media'? The easiest solution to recognise this trend is notice her social interactions and people she introduces you to and if you've only been introduced to her colony street dogs, it's time to move on, mate!

Last year, Ishaan Khatter released his film, Khaali Peeli with Ananya Pandey on an OTT platform.
This year he's working on the film, Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Katrina Kaif but for now, he's briefly taken a break for the new year and was seen on vacation with actress Ananya Pandey, recently.

Ishaan was seen wearing a quirky outfit with a street aesthetic. Take a look at his outfit here:
© Viral Bhayani
Ishaan Khatter was seen wearing an animal print shirt with baggy striped pink corduroy pants.
He completed the look with a pair of sneakers by Nike in the Air Max 90 Essential edition. They were in the exciting colourways of black, wolf grey-atomic, and red-anthracite.
Take a look at the sneaker silhouette here:
© farfetch
Air Max 90 is a sneaker silhouette with balancing bright accents, a bubbly texture and a leather mudguard in black suede and mesh.
The signature swoosh is in wolf grey that completes the look. The silhouette is priced at 215 US Dollars which comes down to Rs 15,000 approximately.

Ananya Pandey, on the other hand, wore a monotone outfit along with a Dior bag. She completed the look with solid white sneakers.
If we were to compare the two sneakers, Ishaan's sneakers clearly get extra points over Ananya's sneakers for its quirky texture and look.
In fact, even Ishaan's overall look is experimental and yet, comes together seamlessly. We can't wait for him to experiment with more bizarre trends this year.

No matter what you may be like as a person in general when you’re out and about in the world, chances are that you may not be the same person behind closed doors, especially in bed. Call it the absence of inhibitions or presence of intimacy, but people tend to usually let loose when they’re having ***.
via GIPHY
An introvert won’t necessarily be a quiet lover and the loudest person in the room during most days might just like it gentle during ***. And while there is no definite way to guess who may or may not need sound-proofing in their bedroom, there is reason to believe that horoscopes may just have some useful insight on the matter.
Here are 3 unapologetic zodiac signs that are known to be the loudest lovers in bed.
1) Aries © iStock
Say hello to the boldest and most kinky zodiac sign of all which obviously makes it to the top of the list, loud and clear. Pun intended.
You see, an Aries likes to be as unfiltered in bed as it does in life otherwise, and that often translates into passionate and noisy love-making without holding anything back. In case you are one, or are dating one of these intense lovers, investing in a little sound-proofing or a remote cabin for lovemaking might just come in handy.
2) Scorpio © iStock
Called ones with the dirtiest mind on the block, Scorpios are best defined by their desire to try something new and exciting while having ***. They want to explore everything there is to the act and are also keen on making most of it by immersing themselves into the experience.
From soft gasps to passionate shrieks, a Scorpio in bed can be as unpredictable as it can be loud and if that means moaning or making you moan constantly for hours, they will make it happen.
3) Leo © iStock
A Leo only loves one thing more than it does getting attention and that is making sure that their partner is having just as much of a good time as they are. For them, putting on a show with wild antics and relentless moaning comes naturally because it doesn’t just earn them the kind of attention they thrive on, but also makes the experience all the more enjoyable and intense for them.
From verbal proclamation to physical proclamation of love, they are all about making big, bold and loud gestures!

Well, everybody knows that they should be investing their money as soon as they become financially independent, but often they do not know the medium to do so and thus lose the opportunity to take advantage of investing early. Here in the list below we have covered major investment options in India where you can actually put your money and have an idea of how things work.
You may not get a complete idea from the brief description, but you will get to know there are some options where you can invest your money which you did not know before.
1. Stocks Stocks are equity in any company When you buy a stock, suppose in a private company, you are actually buying a tiny part, in fact, a share of that company. You do not get ownership unless you hold a huge share in the company. Remember that stock is often more volatile than bonds, and thus, they also yield high gains or steep losses. It all depends on how a company or that stock is performing in the market.
You can invest in stocks through platforms like Sharekhan, Angel Broking, Motilal Oswal, IIFL(India Infoline) or even with the help of your smartphone via the app like Fyers. You can call them and they will be happy to give you all the assistance you will need to start. They may or may not charge a fee for the same. It is actually that simple as you just need to take the first step of contacting them. You can indulge in intraday and interday trading both.
2. Bonds © MumbaiTrader Blog
Bonds are basically loans and they could be corporate as well as government bonds. When you purchase a bond, you are actually loaning a sum of money to the government, for instance. Now, after some time that entity has to pay you back the amount with added interest on the money. Buying and selling bonds aren't that feasible in India as we don't have a marketplace like the US for bonds. You can do so by investing in debt mutual funds or do so with the Demat account you open, when you contact with above-mentioned platforms like Sharekhan and more or contact your bank for directly investing into bonds.
For investors who value safety over returns and have a long period of the investment plan, they can invest in tax-free bonds.
You can also invest in National Saving Certificate bond, which is a saving bond by the Indian government, primarily used for small savings and tax saving. NSC is a risk-free investment option. It is part of the Indian postal service with a fixed term of 5 years and the rate of interest is currently 7.9% compounded annually.
3. Mutual Funds It started with a fast-paced warning note at the end of an advertisement saying “mutual fund investments are subject to market risk, please read the documents carefully before investing.” But today the market has evolved and so has our mutual funds understanding.
Today, mutual funds are easy to invest in. They give you more interest on your money as compared to money saved in a fixed deposit and savings accounts.
The myths like much higher risk and withdrawal limitations associated with a mutual fund investment are weakening day by day. You can choose your Systematic Investment Plan(SIP) with your bank and start investing small every month. You can even begin investing with Rs 1000 per month. You can contact any bank and begin investing mutual funds. You can invest online through Scripbox
4. The Hedge Fund, Index Funds, And Arbitrage Fund. You can read about them at the following links. Hedge fund, Index funds), and Arbitrage fund.
5. Roth IRA © Bank Bazaar/ Rakesh Mohan
A Roth IRA is an individual retirement plan or investment plan which is not taxable by the government of India. In India, we have the Employees Provident Fund(EPF) and Public Provident Fund(PPF) where the amount invested is tax-free (up to a pooled limit of 1.5 lakh under 80 C). The amount withdrawn is also tax exempt.
This plan is similar to the 401K retirement plan used in the USA. This is the first thing you should be doing when you get your first job and talk to your employer about the EPF.
Then there is the Equity-linked savings scheme(ELSS), which is an equity scheme offered by mutual funds in India. They offer tax benefits under the new Section 80C of Income Tax Act 1961.
6. Commodities A commodity is a basic good used in commerce that's interchangeable with other commodities of the same type. It could be coffee, metals like gold, something like crude oil or natural gas.
One of the most popular ways to invest in commodities is through a futures contract – an agreement to buy or sell the underlying commodity at a specified future date and price. Each futures contract represents a specific amount of a given commodity.
To invest in commodities you can take the help of a broker, open a brokerage account and invest in different physical commodities, invest in commodity futures or commodity-related stocks.
You can also invest in gold online with the help of Paytm Gold, where you can buy gold for as less Re 1.
7. Post Office Monthly Income Account Schemes It is a plan with one of the highest returns. There is a monthly income plan of Post Office Saving Schemes which is very suitable for retired people with regular income requirements. This saving scheme does not have any risk-related factor but the interest is quite low.
8. Company Fixed Deposits Company FDs give a higher rate of interest in comparison to the bank FDs. In this scheme, you are not allowed to withdraw money before maturity. The corporate fixed deposit schemes are not under any insurance benefits and neither it is under the control of the Reserve Bank of India. It is advisable for the investors who are willing to invest for long-term and can bear some amount of risk can opt for company FDs.
9. Unit Linked Insurance Plans ULIP is a life insurance product, which provides risk cover for the policyholder along with investment options to invest in any number of qualified investments such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds.ULIP invests in debt and equities markets. The fluctuation is counted by the net asset value (NAV). You can contact your bank to invest in the same.
10. Real Estate © Dhamu And Company
If you have read the book 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' by Robert T. Kiyosaki, then you will know how big an asset real estate could prove to be for you. Invest in real estate for long-term investment and see your money grow manifolds.
11. Cryptocurrencies As the world is getting more and more reliant on the internet, Bitcoin's increasing traction seems inevitable. For those who have heard about it but are not fully aware of the technology, here is some help.
Bitcoin is secure, global, and is also the digital currency that is claiming the interest of investors. And when we look at the present scenario, one Bitcoin is worth hundreds of dollars.
Why are they so valuable? There are only 21 million Bitcoins in the world. As time goes on, they become harder and harder to obtain, just like a precious stone.
There are some platforms like Zebpay through which you can buy and sell Bitcoins in India. It is as hassle-free as it could be on an app, without you digging deep to understand the technology behind it.
Following the game, India also launched its first, local cryptocurrency with the name, ATC Coin. With it, you can pay, invest and do whatever you can with the digital currency.
12. Startups If you are a risk taker and want to bet big, then you can invest in startups. For this, you will need an eye to spot promising entrepreneur and startups. If you are looking to invest them in the initial stages then you can become an angel investor and then manage your portfolio as you progress.

While India remains obssessed with cricket, other sports including football continue to find its own feet in the country. Owing to the ever-improving Team India and popularity of Sunil Chhetri, football has struck a chord, especially with the country's youth. The promotion of I-League and Indian Super League (ISL) has not only brought football to the homes of Indian fans, but also allowed the sport to find a new fanbase.
Though the salaries and prize money of ISL players still doesn't come close to the earnings and wages of cricketers plying their trade in country's cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), the state of affairs for the beautiful game has improved considerably in this part of the world.
© Twitter/@bengalurufc
Just like Virat Kohli, Chhetri reigns supreme on the football scene in the nation. Owing to his unmatched skills on the field which saw him notching up multiple honours and enjoying an illustrious career, Chhetri has has not only become the face of Indian football, but also a befitting role model for the youth.
For someone of his stature, Chhetri is arguably the best Indian footballer around which explains the big bucks he has earned through central contracts and ISL deals. But, at 35, old age is catching up with Chhetri. While his unbelievable fitness levels remains up to the mark, Chhetri's market value that once soared at the top has gone down considerably, currently estimated to be 375,000 euros (Rs 3,09,07,618.66), as per 'Transfer Markt'.
Here's a look at top five ISL players who have a better market value than the Indian football captain:
Andy Keogh © Twitter/@NEUtdFC
Joining NorthEast United earlier this January, Andy Keogh was roped in as a replacement for injured Asamoah Gyan by the John Abraham co-owned ISL franchise. The Irishman is well known for his time in the A-League with Perth Glory where he scored 55 goals in 122 matches. With 30 international appearances under his belt, Keogh also represented Republic of Ireland.
He began his career in England with clubs like Leeds United, Bury FC, and Scunthorpe United before making the switch to the then Championship side Wolverhampton Wonderers, achieving promtion with the Wolves in 2009. The 33-year-old arrived in India after scoring eight goals in 17 matches in Saudi Arabia's second-tier side Al-Qadsiah.
While he may no longer seem to be the goal-scoring machine he once was in his career, netting just once in 7 matches for NorthEast, Keogh remains one of the highly-sought-after footballers in the ISL. With a market value estimated to be 650,000 euros (Rs 5,35,67,800), as per 'Transfer Markt', the Irishman shares the top spot in the list of ISL footballers with highest market value.
Roy Krishna © Twitter/@ATKFC
Arguably one the hottest properties in ISL, Roy Krishna set the tournament ablaze after joining Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) from Wellington Phoenix - a New Zealand football club that competes in Australia's A-League. Arriving at ATK last June, the Fiji football team captain was arguably one of the best strikers on show last season.
The 32-year-old, captaining ATK, emerged as the joint-top goalscorer with 15 goals in 21 matches, alongside five assists and a hat-trick to his name last season. His ability to find the back of the net allowed Atletico to become the first club to win a record three ISL titles. For someone who was roped in on a year-long contract, Krishna proved to be an invaluable asset for ATK last season.
Owing to his success in ISL and other league clubs, Krishna currently has a market value of a staggering 650,000 euros (Rs 5,35,67,800), as per 'Transfer Markt'. He shares the top spot, alongside Keogh, in the elite list of ISL players with the highest market value.
Marcelinho © Twitter/@HydFCOfficial
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Marcelinho started his senior professional career at the age of 18 with the reserves of Atletico Madrid, followed by a stint with Getafe CF B. But it was at Greek club Skoda Xanthi where he really became a key figure with more than 100 appearances. Owing to his success in Greece, Marcelinho was bought in to play for Delhi Dynamos in the 2016 ISL season.
In his debut season, the Brazilian footballer repaid the faith of his employers with a sensational season, finishing as the league's top scorer and bagging the 'Golden Boot' honour. His success at Delhi saw Pune City stealing him away in 2017 on a contract that saw him providing his services over a course of two seasons (2017/18 and 2018/19).
Marcelninho continued his journey in the ISL, this time with new entrants Hyderabad FC who secured his signatures for the 2019/20 season. While Hyderabad had a catastrophic debut season, finishing at the bottom of the table with just 10 points in 18 matches, it didn't really affect Marcelinho's impressive market value that is currently estimated to be 600,000 euros (Rs 4,94,61,600), as per 'Transfer Markt'.
David Williams © Twitter/@ATKFC
Born in Brisbane, Williams played youth football at the Queensland Academy of Sport before making his professional debut for Queensland Roar. Williams has also played in Europe for Danish Superliga (Denmark) club Brøndby and NB I (Hungary) club Haladas. But, it was time playing for several A-League clubs including the likes of Sydney FC and Melbourne City and Wellington Phoenix that really put on him on the world map.
Arriving at Atletico de Kolkata last June alongside his former Wellington Phoenix teammate Roy Krishna, the Australian forward did his bit in his new club's 2019/20 title-winning campaign. His most notable contribution came in the second leg of the semifinals against Bengaluru FC where he scored a brace to help ATK script a spectacular turnaround and storm into the last season's final with a 3-2 aggregate win.
The 32-year-old scored five goals and recorded four assists for ATK, but Williams' market value, thanks to his title-winning season, saw his market value rising to a whopping 600,000 euros (Rs 4,94,61,600), as per 'Transfer Markt'.
Bartholomew Ogbeche © Twitter/@KeralaBlasters
Born in Nigeria, Bartholomew Ogbeche moved to France to join the youth teams of Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 15. While the move was undeniably a golden opportunity to establish himself, Ogbeche's consistent run-ins with injuries kept the playing field at bay. Following inconsistent game time over a course of three seasons in Paris, the Nigerian had brief spells at SC Bastia and FC Metz before leaving France to join Al-Jazira in the Middle East.
In August 2018, Ogbeche joined NorthEast United and scored on his debut against FC Goa. Few days later, he scored a hat-trick in a mere 10 minutes during the clash against Chennaiyin FC. Showcasing his goal-scoring prowess, Ogbeche finished his debut ISL season with 12 goals for NorthEast.
Taking note of his exploits, Kerala Blasters secured his services and reunited him with his former NorthEast coach Elco Schattorie for the 2019/20 season. Handed the role of captaincy, the 35-year-old couldn't save Kerala from enduring a disastrous season, but that didn't stop him for scoring 15 goals in 16 matches, finishing as the joint-top scorer for the 2019/20 season. His success in the ISL has also allowed him to enjoy a handsome market value estimated to be 575,000 euros (Rs 4,73,61,600), as per 'Transfer Markt'.

Sony has been silent about the PlayStation 5 ever since the logo of the console was confirmed at CES earlier this year. While Sony has made some information available about the console, we didnât know much about the PS 5 until today. New information comes from a major retailer in the United States, who is an important partner for Sony when it comes to offline sales. Information coming from GameStop is probably the most concrete details weâve heard about the console yet.
© LetsGoDigital
GameStop put up a placeholder landing page for the PlayStation 5 and the page showed off some details that we were already aware of via various interviews and events along with some information that was not available previously.
A few of the features GameStop mentions include Full 8K TV supportCustom 8-core AMD chipset 3D Audio Built-for-purpose SSD storage/Backwards compatibility with PS4 games/PSVR hardware Ray tracing capabilitiesWhile we know some of these details from previous interviews and events, GameStop goes into detail about the custom AMD chipper the console will be using. It details that the chipset is an 8-core, 6-thread CPU based on AMD's Zen 2 microarchitecture. In comparison to the PlayStation 4, the PS5 will probably be a huge leap in processing power and graphical prowess. To put things into perspective, the Xbox Series X is already confirmed to achieve up to 12 TeraFlops and Sony is expected to have the same level of performance if not better.
© Reddit
GameStop also confirmed that the Dualshock 5 will have haptic feedback technology and adaptive triggers that will let you feel in-game physics such as resistance; for example, when braking in racing games. In terms of design, weâve already seen leaked pictures of the controller and it doesnât look much different than the PlayStation 4 apart from minor changes. We also reported that Sony is looking to add biometric sensors as an accessory that can sense fear and other biometrics data which can be used to enhance your gaming experience.
© Reddit
In terms of the software experience, GameStop details that the menu will allow players to "see what is happening in a game without even booting it up." Players can also "see which multiplayer matches are available or what single-player missions you are on in the game.â
Sony is yet to show off the console and all of its features even though it is scheduled to launch during Holiday 2020. Sony has already pulled out of key gaming events like PAX East, GDC, and E3, hinting that the console is not entirely ready for a full reveal yet.

People collect a lot of things, but Ottocar J can one-up literally everyone with his massive collection of Porsches. Yep, he's collecting cars because why the hell not?
The 80-year-old recently bought his 80th Porsche, a Boxster Spyder in an eye-catching blue colour, and for his loyalty to the brand, he's also now become the first customer to be allowed to affix the Porsche Crest on the bonnet himself.
© Porsche
His incredible journey with Porsche started 50 years ago on the racing track. He said, "The Porsche cars simply flew past me on all sides." That was the moment he started saving up and bought a 911 E in Speed Yellow. And thus, a long journey began.
While he has owned 80 cars over the course of decades, his current collection stands at 38 Porsches. He said, "I can drive a different one every day for a month – and two at the weekends."
© Porsche
Being able to drive a different car every day of the month, now that's something not a lot of people can say.
He has built an entirely separate building for all his cars that is decorated with numerous cups, posters, components, trophies and mementos from races, events and Porsche Club meets.
© Porsche
But, his collection is not just for show, he loves driving them and is regularly out and about with nine of his vehicles, including a 911 R, a Type 991 911 Speedster and two Boxster Spyders from the last two generations.
While he doesn't have a favourite out of the lot, he drives his Type 981 Boxster Spyder more than the others. He said, "The sound, how it drives, its suspension, everything that it does – it is the only one of my road-legal Porsche that reminds me of my 910."
© Porsche
Waiting to complete his 50 years long Porsche journey, he said, "When you are 80-years-old, you don’t think so much about the past anymore but more about the future. You look forward to things that are still to come. Since I bought my first Porsche in 1972, that anniversary will be 2022. So the circle from the past to the present is complete. Because that is how everything began."

Apple Watch has now become one of the most essential gadgets to own, thanks to its various health tracking features. It has been responsible for saving lives in the past too and recently, a feature that was introduced on the Apple Watch Series 4 saved a man's life this time around. Apple introduced the “fall detection” feature that alerts emergency services if a user takes a hard fall and does not get up after a minute.
© Apple
After the first minute, the watch will buzz and sound an alarm. It will then ask if you are fine or need any assistance. If the user is unable to respond in 30 seconds, it will call emergency services automatically and also sound an alarm to notify people who are nearby. The Apple Watch will also send the location of the user to the emergency services so that it is easier for them to be located.
This feature has been responsible in the past for saving a man's life after he fell during a biking accident. Now the same feature has saved a man's life who's from New Jersey and had suffered a fall from a cliff while out for a hike.
© Pinterest(For representation purposes only)
News12 New Jersey reported that the man was hiking in Hartshorne Woods Park. While hiking, he fell from a very steep cliff but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. The report said, “Prudenciano fell into the river and landed on a rock. He suffered three fractures in his back, scratches and thorns that are still lodged in his foot.”
“I was screaming that I'm going to die because I really felt I was going to die,” Prudenciano said. “There was no way out of this for me. I literally said my last goodbyes.”
He was miraculously saved, thanks to his Apple Watch as it detected the hard fall and called 911. This feature only works on the Lte variant of the Apple Watch but does not require a carrier plan to dial emergency services.

The whole nation is divided when it comes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts like Swachh Bharat, Make in India and the recently imposed currency demonetization;, but what his younger brother, Prahlad Modi, said was something totally unexpected.
Prahlad Modi asked his community members to prefix “Modi” to their names. That’s right! He was attending an all-India meet of younger men and women of the Sahu community in Bhopal on Sunday, where he said, “After coming here I am only hearing one thing, Narendra Modi is the pride of India and his community. But why we, the members of Teli Samaj (oil-makers’ community) are not ready to prefix Modi to our names.”

He further added that the leaders of his community use names of sub-castes like Sahu, Rathod and Chauhan, for their selfish motives. Talking about sub-castes, he said that the Patidar and Rajput communities too have sub-castes; however, their identity as Patidar and Rajput remains intact.
Prahlad even said, “If we start with the prefix Modi, I believe that our community’s population will add up to 14 crore” (across India). What’s more, he referred to his community being the children of Goddess Karma Devi who was a Teli, and they are Teli and Modis. “We should resolve today that henceforth our name would begin with Modi,” he added. Calling for unity of the community, he spoke about how the community was being divided due to groupism and the political parties that fooled them.

A majority of the workforce across a lot of different countries are now working from home due to the on-going coronavirus outbreak. If you aren't already working from home, then we highly suggest you talk to your employer and sort it out because it's not safe to step out of your house for some obvious reasons.
That being said, working from home isn't ideal for a lot of people. While there are a lot of tools available online to help you stay productive, it's not going to fetch the same results for each and every firm. And that's exactly why many big-name companies are turning to AI for help.
© Reuters
Facebook, for instance, has already announced that it would rely more heavily on artificial-intelligence-powered content moderation. Content moderation is something that should be taken very seriously, especially at Facebook, so this is definitely a bold move.
Similarly, it looks like YouTube is planning on using automated software to take down videos that violate the platform's policies. The company confirmed the same in a blog post, detailing how it plans to protect its workforce.
So we already have two big players in the industry who are now relying on artificial intelligence to handle what we think of as complex tasks. Content moderation, for those of you who don't know, is quite complicated because you could be dealing with some sensitive content.
Going through piles of posts, videos, or images and marking the ones that violate the policy is a huge responsibility. If everything goes to plan, then one might even think that this is the ultimate AI takeover that we all have been talking about for a while now.
Could This Be The Ultimate AI Takeover? © Reuters
Probably not. Here's the thing - even if AI systems manage to do their job well in Facebook's and YouTube's case, we won't be seeing other companies following suit immediately. Both Facebook and YouTube (Alphabet Inc) have deep roots in the field of AI, so they're probably light years ahead of other firms when it comes to AI advancements.
Even then it looks like AI is already getting a lot of stuff wrong. It looks like Facebook's AI is marking a lot of posts as spam, even though they're not. Here, check it out
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Facebook decided that my posting of this Times of Israel article is spam. (Itâs not spam.) <a href="https://t.co/3NqUbiwmyi">pic.twitter.com/3NqUbiwmyi</a></p>— Mike Godwin (@sfmnemonic) <a href="https://twitter.com/sfmnemonic/status/1240059769295011841?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 17, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This seems to be happening a lot lately, which means the AI is not really ready to replace humans yet, at least when it comes to content moderation. YouTube has also warned about some errors in the blog post. They're also going to use AI, or they already are, so the company says you should expect some errors going forward until everything gets back to normal.
Building a sustainable and consistent AI isn't going to be feasible for a lot of companies just yet. Even in the case of big tech firms, the AI will go through a tough time before literally learning from its actions (mistakes). So, we highly doubt if this is the ultimate AI takeover, just yet. But it'll definitely be a defining moment for AI and maybe even the first step towards replacing humans at different workspaces.
This whole AI situation is something worth taking note of, but absolutely not something to worry about right now. We have a lot of other things to worry about at the moment, so let's all stay strong.

With the death toll on a constant rise, thousands of houses destroyed, lakhs of people left homeless and seeking shelter in relief camps and scores missing; the situation in the wake of the deadly Kerala floods is only turning nightmarish with each passing day.
Reuters
Amid this crisis, we can't stop ourselves from saluting the Indian Navy, the NDRF and the local police for tirelessly working day and night to rescue the people stuck in deep waters.
Thanks to the regular updates by the Indian Navy, we can witness the bravery and the courage with which their personnel are carrying out the rescue missions, and the risks they are taking to ensure people's safety.

— SpokespersonNavy (@indiannavy) August 16, 2018 A few days ago, we saw how Naval rescue chopper pilot Cdr Vijay Varma and his men rescued a pregnant woman (whose water bag broke) from the rooftop of her house near Aluva. In another daring mission an 80-year-old woman was airlifted from a narrow rooftop.

— SpokespersonNavy (@indiannavy) August 17, 2018 While the social media is filled with thank you messages for the Indian Navy, there's one gesture, in particular, that has caught people's attention and it is probably one of the most heartwarming gestures we have seen so far.
To express their gratitude to the Indian Navy, someone painted a giant 'Thanks' on the rooftop, from where Cdr Varma rescued two women on August 17. The official Twitter account of Indian Navy posted these pictures.

Meanwhile, people from across the country are coming together to help the flood victims in every possible way, be it by setting up relief camps, donating money and by providing necessary relief materials like ration, biscuits, medicines, milk, water and other necessary toiletries.

Dating has shifted base to the online arena and there is no going around it unless you want to remain single, or remain single for a long time.
Now, to get the ball rolling and set up those dates with the girl you like, you need to first, let them know youâre interested in them.
How do you do that? By flirting!
And as long as you can pull off being a non-creepy, non-offensive flirt, trust me, you can get any girl. If you want to get started and up your online flirting game right now, follow these 5 easy tips to flirt successfully and land a date with your crush:
1. Keep The Rule Of Reciprocity In Mind © Pexels
The one thing you can never lose sight of while flirting, be it online or otherwise, is the Rule of Reciprocity as I like to call it.
The idea is to pay attention to whether your crush or potential date is equally involved and interested in the process. Remember to start off gently, and amp it up only when you see them showing genuine interest.
2. Ditch Playing Safe © Pexels
Right from hitting her up for the first time to getting the conversation rolling, donât go by the âfoolproof flirting tricksâ your friends handed down to you.
Crack a conversation with a funny but not insensitive comment about her profile, and build it up by talking about your interests over time. If at any point you feel like you need to take things up a notch, try sharing stuff on what interests her and you think she would enjoy checking out.
3. Let The Emoti (cons) ons Flow © Flickr
Not only do women enjoy emoticon-heavy conversations, but using them can also help you understand your woman better.
It makes the conversation lively and less boring, besides helping you play it safe and keep the conversation open. Get that emoticon game on.
4. Risk It With Sexual Undertones, But Go Easy © Pexels
This is only when you have been going to and fro with the sweet messages for a while now. Just because youâre in the online flirting zone doesnât mean you canât drop in a few lines with sexual undertones here and there.
But beware, know where to draw the line. Instead of going at it with full guns blazing, turn things around by pointing out her ânaughty sideâ when she shares something adventurous.
5. Swear By The âMysteriousâ © Pixabay
While itâs great to be talking and hitting it off with all the right moves, the trick here is to make it lasting enough to lead to an actual date eventually.
So, donât spill your beans all at once. Stay honest but also keep up the mystery.
