  1. Reese Witherspoon took a dig at the toxic beauty standards that have made body image issues rampant
  2. Do you feel lethargic most of the time? Has your motivation to take up new things decreased? And do you find it difficult to gain muscles? Well, don’t ignore these signs, there are high chances that you have low testosterone levels. While erectile dysfunction and low *** drive are more commonly acceptable signs of low testosterone, there are many subtle signs and physical discomforts as well that you may experience due to low T levels. Testosterone, a hormone that’s mainly produced in men by the testicles affects a man’s appearance and sexual development. It stimulates sperm production, a man’s libido and helps build muscle and bone mass. But, when testosterone production drops, a range of symptoms can occur that may not always be pertinent to your genitals and sexual performance. Here are signs that will tell you have low T and simple ways to address them. Emotional SignsLow EnergyResearch has shown that men with low testosterone have reported extreme fatigue, night sweats and decrease in energy levels. If you feel tired all the time despite taking enough sleep and find it difficult to get yourself to doing physical activities, you may be having a decline in testosterone. Keeping yourself hydrated, having a fiber and protein rich diet may help maintain a decent energy level. Taking immunity boosting supplements should also make up for the dip in energy levels. __ECOMPRODUCT__1455__ Mood Swings Testosterone influences many significant developments in a man’s body, it can also influence mood and emotions. Research suggests that men with low T levels are more likely to experience radical mood swings, face depression, irritability and lack of motivation. Meditation and yoga is a good way to keep yourselves focussed and motivated. A cup of herbal tea should be equally good enough to alleviate stress. __ECOMPRODUCT__1523__ Physical SignsMuscle Loss Along with finding it hard to get themselves to exercise, men with low testosterone levels might also notice a gradual decrease in muscle mass. Ayurvedic supplements crafted to fuel muscle gain is a safe way to achieve muscle recovery naturally. __ECOMPRODUCT__1524__ Fat GainStudies have also shown that men with low T may also experience an increase in body fat. An imbalance between testosterone and estrogen in men may develop gynecomastia, an enlargement or swelling of breast tissue in males. While it's advisable to see a doctor if you notice any unnatural enlargement in chest size, testosterone booster capsules coupled with a nutritious diet and secure workout regime may help you keep your body weight in check. __ECOMPRODUCT__1525__ Hair Loss The testosterone production plays different roles in body functions, including hair growth on the body and face. Getting bald is a natural part of aging, but men with low testosterone levels start experiencing loss of body hair and minimal growth of facial hair even in their late 20s and early 30s. Oiling your hair often with coconut or olive oil and regularly washing your hair with a chemical-free shampoo will help improve the quality of hair. Onion oil has proved to be equally effective to facilitate new hair growth. __ECOMPRODUCT__1205__ Exfoliating the face regularly and using beard oil may also help promote beard growth. __ECOMPRODUCT__1526__ Sexual SignsLow *** DriveIt’s natural for men to experinece low *** drive as they age since testosterone production starts decreasing after 40. However, someone young with low T levels may experience a sudden drop in their desire to have *** or be aroused. Young men with low testosterone may also notice a sharp decline in the volume of their semen during ejaculation. __ECOMPRODUCT__1527__ Erectile DysfunctionMost of us associate testosterone as a hormone that stimulates a man’s *** drive and aids in achieving an erection. Well, that’s right! When T levels in a man are too low, he may have difficulty achieving a proper erection prior to ***, or while masturbating. A man with low testosterone may often also have a flaccid ***** in the morning. While natural sexual wellness supplements are great to boost stamina and sexual performance, it is always safe to visit a doctor if the problem is more regular in nature. __ECOMPRODUCT__1436__ Final ThoughtsAs men age, the production of testosterone in their body naturally decreases. So, it’s okay for men above 40 to experience some of these signs. But, if you are in your 20s and 30s and resonate with these signs of low testosterone, you must go for a blood test called a serum testosterone test. This test is used to determine the level of circulating testosterone. Low testosterone is diagnosed when levels fall below 300 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). A normal range is typically 300 to 1,000 ng/dL, according to the Food and Drug Administration. Explore More View the full article
  3. Covid fatigue, a feeling of emotional exhaustion, has become a common complaint of people across the nation right now. Now, in the face of Covid fatigue, add the mid-afternoon energy slump and one could feel their eyes already drooping, their drive to get on with the day slowly fading. The energy crash, although natural, that you experience around 2-3 pm after having a meal hits differently. It kills your motivation to work, eats into your overall productivity, and makes you want to hit the bed while the sun still shines bright outside. But, the good news is that it’s fixable. As I dread the afternoon energy crash and gear up after taking a quick ten minute walk to finish this article by 3 pm, let us together look at 7 simple ways to shake off the sluggishness of afternoon slump. Hydrate Hydrate HydrateJust in case mentioning ‘hydration’ once isn’t enough to remind you to have water throughout the day, we put three. When it comes to keeping yourselves hydrated, there is no substitute for water. Dehydration often adds to fatigue and hence it’s imperative to have enough water during the afternoon. If you find regular water boring, try making detox water using sliced cucumber, lemon, fruits, and herbs to switch things up. And if looking for some hot options, a subtle spicy kick of a cup of herbal tea would be equally good enough to bring back that motivation to work. __ECOMPRODUCT__1028__ Grab A Quick Healthy SnackGive your body a boost of energy with a quick bite of a healthy snack. While something sugary and processed may sound tempting and easy, it would be best that you keep from it and consider something rich in protein. Pick something that’s natural or minimally processed like yogurt, a cheese cube, a handful of nuts, or a spoonful of the ever-classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter, that will satiate your cravings and keep your energy levels high. __ECOMPRODUCT__1482__ Make Yourself A Cup Of TeaMaking yourself a cup of tea is an immersive ritual and a great way to step away from work and reset. The process of brewing keeps you active, alert and allows a chance to indulge in the aroma therapy of varied flavours, herbs, and spices. It is also advisable to have a cup of tea half an hour after having your meal to kick away the sluggishness and keep you wide-eyed. Go for green tea, herbal options or stick to the classic Masala chai to perk your mood up. __ECOMPRODUCT__1483__ Stretch & Get MovingIndulging in mild exercising and stretching is the quickest way to boost your energy. Getting your blood pumping also activates your mind. Practice stretching to relax your muscles, take a brisk walk, or get on a call with a colleague to discuss the tasks at hand for the week. You can also simply turn up the volume, plug in the air dopes, put on your go-to dance song and do a quick jig to uplift your mood and energy. __ECOMPRODUCT__1484__ Step Outside & Take Time Off ScreenGive your eyes a break, and step outside in an open space for a bit to expose yourself to the sunlight. Exposing yourself to the sun will tell your internal clock that it’s still day-time, prepare your mind to align with your body clock and the energy slump will slowly fade away. Also, try splashing cold water on your face or simply spray some rose water to press that refresh button. __ECOMPRODUCT__813__ Prioritise Your TasksIf an energy slump in the afternoon is a pattern with you, try to utilise that time for tasks that require less mind and energy. Finish the most creative tasks that require high-energy in the morning and keep the afternoon for tasks that are more mechanical like sending out mails, updating the daily sheets, checking official groups etc. You can also use this time to plan the second half of your day. Take A CatnapAnd if the energy crash makes you feel like you must sleep, then by all means you should. Many people find a quick nap helpful to replenish the energy and get on with the remaining day better. But, remember to keep it short, an ideal nap time should be 20 minutes, and set an alarm because you don’t want to wake up feeling groggy with your boss’ call. The Bottomline An afternoon energy slump is only natural and has got to do with our circadian rhythm (sleep-wake) cycle that roughly repeats every 24 hours, so don’t blame yourself for feeling a sense of low energy. Just follow these simple steps to put yourself back on track, without feeling guilty. Explore More View the full article

  6. Ever wondered why certain people have amazing looking hair always, and why some people just can’t control their hair or hairstyle, no matter what? © Instagram/aparshakti_khurana The thing is, some men follow certain rules when it comes to their hair and hairstyle. Believe it or not, we men are very finicky when it comes to our hair. For most of us, nothing short of the best will ever do. © Instagram/rajkummar_rao You may experiment with tons of different products, and tons of different routines, but the thing is, unless you follow some basic rules, all of those products and routines will amount to nothing. © Instagram/arjunkapoor Here are 6 basic, but highly effective, rules that all men with good hair follow, whether they’re a model or an actor. It goes without saying if they follow these rules, so should you. 1. Say NO To Greasy & Oily Hair © Instagram/kartikaaryan While regularly oiling your hair is good, leaving that oil in for prolonged periods of time is not a good choice. This is especially true if you have an oily scalp. Oily scalp leads to oily or greasy hair. If you don’t take care of this, no matter how great a conditioner you use, or how expensive your shampoo is, nothing will work on your hair. It also becomes impossible to style your hair and manipulate it into a decent looking style. 2. Invest In Some Good Products That Suit You © Instagram/vickykaushal09 Speaking of styling and products, make sure that you don’t use sub-par products. It is imperative that you invest some time and money in finding the product that works best for you. It doesn’t have to be ridiculously expensive, over the counter products are good too, provided, you pick the ones that suit you. Consult a dermatologist if you’re too confused. 3. Mind Your Hair Texture & Density © Instagram/hrithikroshan Embrace the hair that you have. If it has a naturally coarse texture, don’t try to change it. If you have a naturally thin density of hair, no products or routines can help you. Pick your style and routine that works around your hair, not the other way around. With that being said, of course, there are certain things that you can work towards, like making your hair shiny, or strong, and less brittle. 4. Identify Whether You Need A Hairstylist Or A Barber © Instagram/ayushmannk People often get confused between a hairstylist and a barber. A barber is trained to only cut your hair, and groom it in a very basic manner. A hairstylist will actually work with you, and help style it in a completely new manner. We suggest that you visit a hairstylist, after every 3-4 trips to the barber, especially if you’re in the process of finding out your own style. 5. Get Your Hair Cut At Regular Intervals © Instagram/kartikaaryan Speaking of going to the barber, don’t wait too long between haircuts. Ideally, you should be visiting the barber every 3-4 weeks, but no later than 4-5. This allows you to have a more consistent hairstyle, keep a track of things, and really evaluate your style. 6. Plan & Study Before You Go For A Haircut © Instagram/ayushmannk Never ever go to a barber or a hairstylist without doing your research. Tell them about your concern, what sort of a haircut do you want, what hairstyle are you going after. If possible show them pictures. The better you are at giving directions, the better your barber or hairstylist will be in getting you the haircut that you have in mind. The Bottomline…If you want a hairstyle that looks dope and really stands out, you have to put in some effort. Just follow these basic tenets, and trust us, you’re all good to go. The most important thing here, is to have a clear vision, of what you want your hair to look like, and being able to tell your barber/hairstylist about it in a clear manner. View the full article
  7. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Rock Star Yash has one of the most awesome beards we have ever seen in films. © Instagram/thenameisyash No wonder that fans want to grow and maintain a beard that is as long and as luscious as his. In fact, most men start growing out their beards, hoping that some day, they too can sport a long and thick beard that looks glorious. © Instagram/thenameisyash Now, while growing your beard to that length may take some time, making it look thick and luscious doesn’t need to be. In fact, even if you have a short-boxed beard that grows in a patchy manner, you can make it look thick, densely growing, and fuller. How? © Instagram/thenameisyash Just follow these basic beard styling hacks and in no time, you can make your beard look fuller and thicker. 1. Apply Some Beard Wax & Shape Your Beard © iStock First and foremost, get a good beard wax. A wax gives your beard a firm hold and allow you to tame it, and style it. Furthermore, a beard wax protects the hair of the beard, as well as the roots from the elements, while giving it an appearance of being thick and fuller. 2. Use A Beard Filler, If Growth Is An Issue © iStock If you have very patchy growth and are looking for a quick fix to make your beard look thick and dense, you have to go for a beard filler. They are very easy to use. There are some spray-on options, that have a fuzzy texture, to give your beard, a more natural look. Otherwise, you can also go for a simpler, filler pen, and fill in the gaps between your beard. 3. Shampoo & Condition Your Beard © iStock Certain beard shampoos and conditioners actually fluff up your beard. Go for these products, instead of a regular shampoo or soap, which just flattens your beard, and makes them look lifeless. A beard conditioner, just like a good hair conditioner, is a quick and easy way to instantly give your facial hair some much-needed volume. 4. Blow Dry, Instead Of Letting It Air Dry © iStock Blow drying your beard again, makes it look fluffy and more voluminous. Letting your beard air dry, allows the beard to set itself in a certain, non-flattering way, thanks to the weight of the water. Do keep in mind that the skin on your face is much sensitive, so keep the blower at the lowest setting and a good 10 inches away from your beard. 5. Brush Your Beard Regularly © iStock One of the best ways to shape and style your beard is to use a brush. Use one that is made using animal hair, as that makes your life much easier. Also, style your beard when it is damp, not dripping wet or dry. This will allow you to tame your beard, and style it in a way that makes it look fluffy and fuller. The Bottomline…While you grow your beard out like Yash, there are several things that can be done to make it look thick and fuller like his beard. You don’t really need to fret if you have patchy growth, or if your beard is not dense. Just following these nifty little tricks will go a long way. View the full article
  8. Male Pattern Baldness is a sad reality for a lot of people, especially Indian men. © PVR Pictures While a few of us have really great genes, and a good head of hair because of them, a vast majority of peoplearen’t that fortunate. For most Indian men, no matter how good care they take of their hair, male pattern baldness, or hair fall is all but certain. © Instagram/akshaykumar The only way to completely avoid male pattern baldness is to take extremely good care of your hair and scalp, consult expert dermatologists regularly, and most importantly have good genes. © Instagram/ayushmannk Or, you can take the easy way out, deal with the male pattern baldness as it progresses, and use some basic hairstyling hacks to cover things up. Can you use hairstyling hacks to actually cover up male pattern baldness? Sure you can! Here we list a few: 1. The Length Of Your Hair © Instagram/aparshakti_khurana You don’t want your hair to be too short, nor do you want it to be too long, as both of them make things very obvious. Ideally, you should aim for a length that allows you to comb your hair backwards, and does not make it go haywire. So keep your hair moderately on the shorter side. 2. The Hairstyle You Choose © Instagram/vickykaushal09 A pompadour or something similar, where you get to shape your hair in a way that concentrates volume, and is preferably upwards in direction is your best bet. There are a number of variations of the classic pompadour that you can consider. If you trust your barber to help you out with a style that would work for you, then great, otherwise, consult a hairstylist if you feel like it. 3. The Hair Products © iStock You need to choose your hair products very carefully. Forget products like hair gels, and wax and other heavy products. Invest in a good shampoo, and a mousse, both of which, should suit your dermatologically. The idea is to make your hair look voluminous, so go for products that add volume. 4. The Accessories © Instagram/aparshakti_khurana Accessorise as much as you can. You also have a ton of options to choose from apart from baseball caps. Pick up a bucket cap, or a fedora hat, and trust us, you will be amping up your style as well. Just make sure that whatever you go for, it is a bit breathable, and does not suffocate your scalp. 5. Or, Just Flaunt It Like A Boss © Instagram/therock For most of us, there will come a point of time when no matter what you do, you just can’t hide your bald spot anymore. If you really don't want to go for a hair transplant surgery or a scalp micro pigmentation, we suggest that you shave it off completely. Trust us, you will look far better with no hair, with half a head of hair, that is trying to cover up your entire head. The Bottom Line… Although male pattern baldness is something that we all have to deal with at some point in time or the other. There are some ways using which you can style your hair in a certain way that hides your bald spot, but in the longer run, it is better if you just shave things off, and embrace going clean-shaven. 9. Hangovers can be pretty nasty. Dealing with them can be even nastier. Thanks to the guidelines that have been circulated in most cities and states, this year, the chances of having a full-blown Holi colour-party are pretty slim. That does not mean that you can’t enjoy yourself and have a great time. © iStock Since most of us equate having a great time with alcohol, it can be safely assumed that a lot of us are actually planning to get hammered. Now, as much fun drinking till you blackout is for some of us, we’re pretty sure no one actually enjoys a hangover. © iStock Like we said, dealing with a hangover can be nasty, not just for your head, but for your skin as well. And of course, overconsumption of alcohol shocks your entire system. © iStock Says Dr Sushant Shetty MD For Skin & Head Of Medical Operations at Kaya, “Excess consumption can worsen preexisting inflammatory skin conditions, cause stomach ulcers, and worsen acne lesions, among a plethora of other problems.” Seems pretty horrid, doesn’t it? So, it goes without saying, the first and foremost thing to do, is to drink within a limit. © iStock Other than that here are a few easy ways to deal with a bad hangover, once you’ve done the deed: 1. Hydrate Yourself © iStock Keeping yourself hydrated is the key. While you’re drinking, have a glass of water between drinks. That way, you’re automatically cutting down the number of drinks you may consume. Also, once you’re about to hit the sack, drink lots of water, as that helps your body to flush the excess alcohol out. 2. Alka-seltzer In Water © iStock Right before you go to bed, take two tablets of Alka-Seltzer, mix them in water and just gulp it down as it effervesces or froths up. You can use any over the counter aspirins, but Alka-seltzer works best. Before doing this, make sure you have vomited if you’ve been feeling pukish. 3. Get A Good Night’s Sleep © iStock It is imperative that you get a good’s night sleep. The best way to do this is to sleep in your own bed. But just in case that’s not possible, get as comfortable as you can. And yes, you need to sleep for at least 7 hours to recuperate. 4. Eat Well, Eat Heavy © iStock By eating well, we don’t mean eat a salad, or something light. You need something that is more filling; you’ll need to carb load the morning after your party. Your body needs something greasy, and rich to get back to normal. For a lot of people, a good, decadent biryani, with a plain cucumber & tomato salad does the trick. If you want something even richer, go for some french toasts, along with a sunny-side-up egg. Avoid coffee, especially on an empty stomach. 5. Take Care Of Your Skin © iStock Finally, you need to take care of your skin. Have a proper shower, and moisturise thoroughly. You’ll need to take extra care of your under-eyes. Get a few slices of cucumber, place it on your eyelids, and just lie down. Put on a sheet-mask if you have one. Says Dr. Shetty, “Use the right products suitable for your skin type. They should be mild and contain antioxidants along with hydrating constituents.” The Bottomline… Every once in a while, there will be a time when you actually go over your tolerance, or days, when you just can’t handle your liquor. Now, although such days should be few and far in between, there are ways you can deal with the following hangover, without making too much of a fuss about it. Just keep these simple tricks in mind, and you’ll be okay. View the full article
  10. At this point, people are completely aware of the fact that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and some of the other brands who indulge in the same ‘pro-wrestling’ business depend heavily on scripts. Their goal is to entertain us using storylines and presenting a show inside the ring which resides within us for the years to come. In hopes of achieving that, WWE has done various things in the past, such as, making the performers cut themselves with a blade to show blood back in the day to come up with some of the most unusual narratives around the wrestlers (I mean… giving birth to a hand, COME ON NOW!). Although, ever since the company decided to become kids friendly, they have turned down the crazy by a couple of notches and depended on the wrestlers’ acrobats and the ability to sell the moves inside the square ring. Having said that, there are a few moments from time to time during which the narratives require the wrestlers to go out of their way, dial in their creativity, and create the illusion of really inflicting pain on their opponents to sell the rivalry between them. Here are a couple of the most simple yet effective ways that the WWE superstars have been doing it for ages now: 1. Triple H’s Sledgehammer Shots To The Face © WWE Let’s start with the most obvious one. During his days as a wrestling headliner, Triple H was known to carry a massive sledgehammer in his hand wherever he went. He would take it out from underneath the ring or would have someone from the crowd hand it to him to turn the tables of the match in an instant. However, the ‘deadly shot’ that he used to take with the hammer was more evident that the wrestler thought it to be. Whenever, HHH used to go for a blow, he would cover the hammer with his hand which would absorb the contact between the iron and the face of his opponent. 2. Randy Orton’s ‘Punt Kick’ © WWE When Randy Orton first introduced the world to his new move called the ‘Punt Kick’, people wondered how could the WWE allow something so vicious. Kicking people in the head like a football has to be as inhumane as it gets, right? But thanks to the multiple camera angles provided by the brand, fans were quick to find out why Orton’s kick was not as deadly as it would have been in real life. What ‘The Viper’ does is that he quickly swings away from the face of the opponents and ‘kicks the air’ with the rest of the selling of the move completely dependent on the victim. 3. Headshots With Steel Chair © WWE At the time of the ‘Attitude Era’, the company had no issues with wrestlers actually hitting each other on the head with steel chairs but due to multiple athletes coming up with severe concussions due to the move, they had to ban it completely. Now they are only restricted to steel chair shots to the back. But recently, Edge found his own way about selling headshots with steel chairs when he was cutting a promo with MVP. During the scene, the ‘Rated R Superstar’ placed MVP’s head on one steel chair and hit the metal with another chair just a few centimeter away from the wrestler’s head. It sounded like the impact was real but MVP was absolutely safe. 4. Whipping Batista’s Back With A Steel Chain © WWE When Triple H and Batista competed in a ‘No Holds Barred’ match at WrestleMania 35, fans thought that the brand was going back to the violent era in which spewing blood and inflicting real damage was a common norm. According to the kayfabe, in the fight between the two legends, Triple H even ripped off Batista’s nose ring at one point. He also began to whip ‘The Animal’ with a massive steel chain with repeated shots to his back with the impact sounding as sadistic as it looked. When the dust settled, the fans watched the videos again and realised that the chain was hitting the announcers’ table and was merely falling onto Batista’s back slowly. 5. Shawn Michaels’ Sweet-Chin Music © WWE Ah! The notorious Shawn Michaels with his kip-ups and over the top jackets. One of the most entertaining wrestlers in the history of the profession, Michaels heavily depended on his finisher move, the ‘Sweet Chin Music’ to get the audience cheering (or booing) him. A swift kick to the chin which would sound like the opponent would only be opening his eyes at the hospital, that was the Heartbreak Kid’s memo. After years and years of HBK performing this move, fans finally discovered the source of the devastating thud that came along with the kick. If you closely look at the leg that Michaels used to deliver the blow, you could see that he would slap his thigh with his hand just at the time of making contact with the opponent to make it sound like an absolute knockout. Which one has been your favourite? Let us know in the comments section below. View the full article

  12. The world of beauty is very closely connected to self-care. 13. Let’s be honest here, Milind Soman does know how to set both style and grooming goals for men even today. The former supermodel has, on many occasions in the past, showed men how to groom themselves. © Instagram/milindrunning Well, this time around, he has again set a legit new grooming goal for men. And given that how some of us still haven’t had a proper haircut in months now, we think that this is the hairstyle that they should go for. © Instagram/milindrunning Recently, Milind visited celebrity hairstylist Kanta Motwani and got a rather sharp looking haircut. With that, he bid farewell to the long hair that he had sported for quite some time now. View this post on Instagram We also love the fact that he chose not to get his hair coloured, and kept his quintessential salt & pepper hair, although, with his new hairstyle, his greys do become more prominent. This is actually a good thing, accepting one’s grey. Accepting one’s grey hair is a movement that has resonated well with most common men. © Instagram/milindrunning Plus, men look dapper with grey in their hair and Milind certainly does. One more thing that we loved about Milind’s new hairstyle, is the fact that he can style his hair in two drastically different ways. What he has basically done, is let the top left side of his hair be a little longer than the sides, and had a fine crop at the sides. © Instagram/milindrunning If he styles it downwards, he gets a very emo looking, goth appeal, which actually looks rather good on him. © Instagram/milindrunning The other way of styling his hair, when he combs it upwards, is a more sublime and subtle way. This one, we feel, has it’s own charm, something that Milind has come to personify over the years. © Instagram/milindrunning In the end though, no matter how he styles his hair, his pictures, will still be totally thirst-worthy. Take a bow, Milind. A great choice indeed. View the full article

  15. It doesn't look like offices are going to start opening up any time soon and we'll all just have to wait for the vaccine to arrive next year. On that note, it's going to be a year of staying at home by next March, and if you still haven't experimented with your facial hair, now is the time. A rad style that you should definitely dip your toes in is the 'Pornstache'. From Chris Evans, Henry Cavill, Ayushmann Khurrana and Goerge Clooney- all have experimented with this style. Although a pornstar moustache has multiple variations, the widely acknowledged one is defined as a stache with thick, heavy growth with slightly elongated ends and no accompanying facial hair. If you're looking to get behind this trend, here's how to start: 1. Get The Grooming Stash Ready © Twitter/ Pornstache club In your grooming stash, add in a small fine-toothed comb for the moustache to tame the strays each morning. If your facial hair has the tendency to go astray, get a moustache wax as well. __ECOMPRODUCT__928__ 2. How To Start © Twitter/ Pornstache club If you're starting from scratch, the best way to proceed is to let your stache grow until it reaches the edge of the top lip. Once, you've crossed that line, you can begin to style it and mould it in the direction you're aiming to or visit the salon and get assistance. However, it's important to note that hair growth varies from person to person and hair type also becomes a major factor in deciding your signature style or even moulding a pornstache for that matter. 3. A Pornstache Can Be Customised © Twitter/ Pornstache club While a pornstar moustache definitely has as a thick, heavy stache with slightly elongated ends. You can also tweak it according to face type, your hair growth type and style. A common variation is a mashup of the classic chevron and handlebar. 4. Talk To Your Hairstylist © Twitter/ Pornstache club Take reference images to your hairstylist and talk about the kind of maintenance involved with this style. A few styles might require you to spend a lot more than two minutes in front of the mirror fixing it each morning. You might also have to go for more maintenance trips to the salon as well. Take into account all these factors before deciding what you want. View the full article

  17. Gender Bending, Gender Fluidity, Gender Neutrality - no matter what you want to call it, the basic premise of all these titles and concepts lies in challenging what ‘masculinity’ traditionally stands for. Why do we need it, you ask? © Instagram/Anushka Sharma Well, very simply put, we need gender neutrality in order to avoid gender-based discrimination which often arises from archaic beliefs that there are certain things only one gender should do because another is less suited for it. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will agree that this needs to change. In India however, where visual representation seems to make a greater impact on people than all the words and logic combined, motion picture and fashion have played an important role in trying to present and normalise gender bending to a great extent. © T-Series Be it Ayushmann Khuranna’s cross-dressing in films like Dream Girl and Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan, or fashion labels such as Bobo Calcutta and Jaywalking, people are making conscious decisions to normalise gender bending across the board. Yet, if you are still unsure about what challenging restrictive and toxic ideals of masculinity looks like in its most basic forms, or perhaps you need that little push to join the bandwagon yourself, check out these five Bollywood celebs and their effortless take on gender bending that will convince you that gender neutrality is indeed the way to go. 1. Prateik Babbar © Instagram/Prateik Babbar One of Bollywood’s most atypical star kids, Prateik Babbar is making headlines for yet again going against the ‘norm’ by choosing to get his nails painted and showing it off to the world. But this isn’t even the first time Prateik challenged traditional standards of masculinity. In 2018, he had walked the ramp for Chola The Label decked up as a drag queen and wow-ed people. 2. Aamir Khan © Facebook/MTV Beats Remember the time Aamir Khan went about flaunting his multiple ear and nose piercings? With kohl-rimmed eyes, oxidised nose pins and chucky earrings covering his lobes, Aamir did a fine job at telling the world that accessories and jewellery aren’t ‘only’ restricted to women and that men can pull them off as effortlessly. 3. Ranveer Singh © Twitter/Korbin Miles Of course Ranveer Singh and his sartorial wardrobe will find a mention on this list. Ranveer has been one of the biggest flag bearers in the field when it comes to normalising gender fluid ensembles. Right from sporting a nath to wearing skirts and other ‘feminine’ cuts, colours and prints out in the public, Ranveer has never shied away from any of it. 4. Jim Sarbh © Instagram/Jim Sarbh This man is known for not giving two fcuks about what the world thinks about his dressing choices. Jim can pull off a crisp, structured suit with just as much panache, as he can gracefully carry flowy, feminine silhouettes. What’s more, you will never find him turning down an opportunity to smash patriarchal notions of masculinity. 5. Karan Johar © Instagram/Karan Johar Another individual who has been loudly rallying for gender fluidity is Karan Johar. Karan’s idea of fashion screams of eccentric styles often bordering on over-the-top yet always inclinng towards the non-binary. From embellished jackets, ***** bow blouses, to loud colours, prints and high heeled boots he has done it all. What are your thoughts of gender neutral fashion? Let us know! View the full article

  19. There are varied beard styles. While some men embrace a stubble, others experiment with a thick beard. Some beards are also fairly light and since we understand that you wish to dissipate the visible gaps or want to have a fuller beard appearance, there are some tried and tested ways, in which you can darken your beard, with these simple tricks. 1. Use Beard Oil Every Day © iStock Using beard oil ensures that your beard is strong and the follicles are supple and softer than ever. Also, it adds an amazing fragrance to your hair. But besides that, the oil also moisturises your beard, giving it a darker appearance. There are some beard-darkening oils that can help. In any case, invest in a good, high-quality beard oil. The best time to use it would be after a warm shower when the beard is slightly damp. The facial pores are exposed to heat and this way the oil will penetrate into the skin better. 2. Use Black Walnuts © iStock You can also darken your facial hair with the help of a natural home remedy, for example, black walnuts. Take at least 7 to 8 walnuts, crush them and add water to it. Cook it well in water for at least half an hour and then let it cool. Once done, dip your beard in this mixture and let it sit for at least 20 minutes, for it to catch the colour. While using it, wear gloves to avoid staining. 3. Use A Beard Filler © iStock When a beard doesn't grow in an even manner, you can see the gaps in your facial hair. Most men struggle with this issue, and the gap also gives the appearance of a light beard. A beard pencil or a filler is an effective solution that will help the patchy sections and make it look fuller. This covers it up completely, and your hair will look darker than usual. Try it out. 4. Use Cocoa Paste © iStock In order to make your beard look darker, you can also use cocoa paste. While cocoa is a delicious powder, the same can be used on your beard as well. All you need to do is make a thick paste of it with water and apply it on your beard. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. The more you wait, the darker facial hair you'll get. Once done, rinse it off. 5. You Can Also Use Coffee Dye © iStock For men, who want to add a tinge of dark brown shade, using coffee powder is a solution that can work well. Firstly, brew a cup of dark roast coffee and let it cool. Once done, mix it with your usual beard shampoo. Take the mixture and rub it onto your hair. Do it standing over the skin to avoid any mess around. Distribute it evenly throughout your beard. Use a beard comb if necessary. Keep this mixture for at least an hour for the tannins to dye your hair. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and then towel-dry gently. View the full article

  21. Frizzy hair is quite taxing as the innate nature and the tendency of the hair is dry and dehydrated. The outer layer of the hair, the cuticle, lifts up and it lets the moisture pass through it and makes hair strands swell up. But, thankfully, you don't have to live with frizz forever. Once you have figured that your hair is too dry, you can try out these effective hacks that will help control the frizz: 1. Say No To Combs © iStock Combing is one of the most dreadful things for frizzy hair. When you run a comb through your hair, it will be more unkempt than ever. Instead of fluffing your hair up, use a wide-toothed comb. If that doesn't work for you, you can run your fingers as well. Try this hack as it will keep frizz under control. 2. Wash Your Hair With Lukewarm Water © iStock When you use hot, styling tools, it can damage your hair follicles. The same way, even cold water or extremely hot water can turn your follicles dry. Instead, stick to lukewarm water. You'll find the benefit of fighting the frizziness in no time with this hack. 3. Cut Down The Shampoo Frequency © iStock Frizzy hair can be a hassle, especially when you use chemically filled shampoos on your hair. These shampoos take away your hair's endogenous oil from the scalp and in turn, give dry hair texture. To combat it, invest in a paraben and sulfate-free shampoo, followed by a hydrating conditioner. Shampoo your hair three times a week. If you still want to continue the good old fashion of washing the hair daily, skip the shampoo and only use a dab of conditioner on your hair and then rinse it off. 4. A Conditioner Is Gold For Your Hair © iStock No matter what you do, you can't possibly escape the goodness of a conditioner, when you are dealing with frizzy hair. In fact, it's a good idea to use a leave-in conditioner for your hair daily, for at least half-hour, since your hair demands hydration and this is the best way out. Ensure it's not filled with silicones or sulfates and we promise you, your hair will thank you for it. 5. Change Your Pillowcases © iStock Frizzy hair can't deal with friction, which is why everything that hinders with this hair texture, should be completely avoided. If the surface of your bed is not suitable for your hair, it will only lead to more frizziness. Trade your cotton pillowcases with silk or satin ones, to keep your hair away from reacting with abrasive surfaces. 6. Do Deep Conditioning © iStock It looks like a big deal, but it's just one more extra step in your shower caddy. Deep conditioning or using a hair mask is a treatment that you can do at home once a week. Since these methods penetrate deep into the skin, with natural ingredients, you can typically keep them on longer than your everyday conditioner and reap its benefits. 7. Say No To Heat © iStock Drying your hair using a blow-dryer every day will only dry up your hair even more. Your scalp will turn weaker and result in breakage. Instead, opt for air-drying and when you are in rush, you can always stick with a diffuser, which is less aggressive on the hair. View the full article
