KARACHI: Founder of Institute of Business Management and renowned academician Shahjehan Syed Karim passed away in Karachi.

Shahjehan Syed Karim?s death was caused due to a cardiac arrest. Karim served in Civil Services of Pakistan for 37 years. He also held senior posts in Sindh and federal government, and for quite some time he served at the United Nations as an international civil servant.

In 1994, before retiring from the post of Chief Secretary Sindh, Shahjehan Karim also served as federal secretary information and chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

Shahjahen Karim?s funeral prayers will be offered on July 18 at IoBM Korangi Creek campus at 1PM.
