Rain-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) and gusty winds are expected at scattered places in Punjab (Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan divisions), Sindh, eastern Balochistan (Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Quetta, Naseerabad divisions), Bannu, D.I. Khan division, FATA and Kashmir in the next 24-hours.

Rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat divisions), Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan on Wednesday. Monsoon currents continue to penetrate in the country and likely to continue during the next few days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said. A shallow westerly wave is still affecting northern parts of the country and likely to persist during next three days, the PMD said.

On Tuesday, rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Islamabad, Punjab, upper KP, lower Sindh and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Kalat, Makran divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
