LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Sunday that the Supreme Court order [disqualifying Nawaz Sharif as prime minister] requires adherence by all.

?Accountability must be impartial and exhaustive. The PPP seeks to enact legislation for across the board accountability,? said the PPP chief, adding that he must categorically state that Nawaz Sharif?s removal poses no threat to the Parliament or democracy.

Bilawal made the remarks during his speech following the inauguration of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) Centre in Larkana, Sindh.

In his speech, Bilawal said it is rewarding to see their hard work paid off.

The PPP chief congratulated the team at NICVD and hoped the people of Larkana will benefit from the facility, saying Larkana is close to his heart.

?I challenge other chief ministers of Pakistan to show such free-of-cost and state-of-the-art facilities for everyone in the province,? said Bilawal.

Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court on Friday under Article 62 (1) (f) of the Constitution over his failure to disclose un-withdrawn receivables constituting assets from a UAE-based company. The court stated that Sharif was not ?honest? and ?truthful?, as per the country?s Constitution.
