
Photo: courtesy Pakistan Stock Exchange KARACHI: The benchmark KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a decline of 900 points during market hours Thursday afternoon.
The index reached a level of 43251.90 points and saw a decline of -2.2%.
The bearish trend continued at the market as stocks continued to face losses. On Tuesday, the KSE-100 shed 1,889 point and closed at 43,899 points after shedding around three per cent.
During the day?s trading session, investors traded around 191 million shares of 392 companies, with a total trading volume of more than Rs9 billion.
Experts predicted that the reason behind the plummet could be political turmoil and uncertainty.
