LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other senior politicians and Bollywood film stars attended the wedding of businessman Anil Mussarat?s daughter in London.

Pakistani politicians such as Sheikh Rasheed, Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Babar Awan, former premier Shaukat Aziz, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ahmed Raza Kasoori were present alongside the PTI chairman at the function.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan was also a guest at the wedding.

Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Sunil Shetty also attended the wedding reception of businessman Mussarat?s daughter.

It was earlier reported that this month major politicians would be in London this month ? some to attend wedding of Anil Mussarat?s daughter, while the Sharifs (excluding Maryam Nawaz) are already there due to the ongoing cancer treatment of Kulsoom Nawaz.

Imran Khan reached London earlier on Saturday to attend the wedding ceremony while senior PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haque arrived in London before him. Naeemul Haque also addressed two meetings during his stay. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed had spoken to Geo News and said: ?I have come to attend the wedding event and also will be speaking at four events organised by my party.? He had said he would leave for Pakistan two days after the wedding.
