Owing to the marvelous inning of opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad, Pakistan won the three-match Independence Cup T20 series at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.

Shehzad contributed his vital 89 runs off 55 balls in Pakistan's target of 184 runs to the World XI. His innings included three sixes and eight 4s.

Following the match, many cricketers, celebrities, and politicians took to Twitter to express their excitement and congratulate World XI for winning the second match of the tournament.
