RAWALPINDI: German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler Thursday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters GHQ, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The two figures discussed affairs of mutual interest including security situation, the ISPR said in a statement.

On the occasion, Ambassador Kobler said that Germany is grateful to Pakistan for its fight against terrorism, the statement read.

He assured of his continued efforts in improving bilateral ties between the two countries, it added.
