Professional basketball player LeBron James has called President Donald Trump a bum after a White House invitation for the Cleveland Cavaliers player was rescinded, reported CBS Sports

James took to Twitter to express his displeasure towards the president and said that visiting the White House was no longer the honour it once was with Trump in office. 

James has been a vocal critic of Trump and his presidency and has referred to him as a "so called" president during the Charlottesville riots.

The professional NBA player's tweet continues the trend by not only James but also the NBA as a whole of speaking up when they feel its necessary. 

James has won three NBA championships and has also won two Olympic gold medals apart in addition to four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards.
