ISLAMABAD: The new petroleum prices announced by the government have been implemented, following which petrol and diesel prices were raised by Rs2 per litre from Sunday.

After the raise, new petrol price stood at Rs73.50 and new high-speed diesel prices became Rs79.40.

New light-diesel price stood at Rs46, whereas, the price of kerosene oil was raised by Rs4 and stood at Rs48.

According to the finance ministry, the raise in the prices of petroleum products came into effect after the approval from the prime minister, upon Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority?s (OGRA) recommendation.
