Pakistan Post to issue special stamp in tribute to Champions Trophy victory

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post is issuing a commemorative postage stamp of Rs 10 denomination and souvenir sheet of Rs 50 denomination in honour of the country?s remarkable Champions Trophy victory in England earlier this year.

The commemorative postage stamp will be available for sale at all important Post Offices in Pakistan from Thursday.

Meanwhile, a postage stamp of Rs 8 denomination is being issued on Wednesday on 125th anniversary of Government Islamia College Lahore.

Pakistan outclassed India by 180 runs in the hotly anticipated final match of the ICC Champions Trophy held at The Oval, London in June this year.
