Ever fancied playing cricket like Dhoni? Are you a stellar fan of the batting genius. Captain Cool of India has not one but many perfected skills up his sleeve which were only visible on the TV  until now. M.S Dhoni fulfilled his life long dream of opening his global cricket academy in the posh city of Dubai today.

The academy is backed by Pacific Sports Club and Aarka Sports Club. The ribbon cutting was done by the man of the moment himself amidst very excited onlookers.

Besides having  three cement and three matted pitches, a spin and swing bowling machine, safety nets, lights for night practice, the academy will also have a sports shop for buying good cricket gear. "I am delighted to be a part of this venture and will contribute in every way possible to make it a success. It has been my dream to contribute to the game in every way possible. This is the first step in that direction. The enthusiasm of the trainees is what will drive this venture”, said the captain cool.

The facilitators of the academy will be Indian and international coached with a plethora of much required experience. The overall functioning will be managed by Vishal Mahadik . talking about the viability of sports as a business platform, Dhoni had to say this; “Sports has attained a global stature not just for fostering athleticism and sportsmanship, but also as a viable business platform that involves many different stakeholders, from small businesses to big conglomerates and organisations. I am delighted to be a part of the club and will contribute in any means possible to make it a success.” Owning an academy is not something new and many other sportsmen have different business operations functioning besides their game. However, MS Dhoni just went a notch higher with his global academy.
