Pakistani actress Mahira Khan may be attending the 71st annual Cannes Festival, Indian celebrity website Pinkvilla reported on Tuesday.

The Cannes Film Festival will be held from 9 May till 20 May 2018.

Reports of Mahira attending Cannes have gained momentum after she recently joined as the brand ambassador for a major beauty giant. Prior ambassadors of this brand include Indian actresses Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone who have attended the film festival in the past.

Mahira Khan is currently promoting her upcoming movie Verna which is directed by Shoaib Mansoor. Mahira, who made her debut with Geo Films? Bol, had also collaborated with Shoaib Mansoor for the movie
