It took months and months but Karan Johar has finally announced the much-anticipated news: Sridevi?s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter ? the brother of Shahid Kapoor ? will be starring in his upcoming project Dhadak.

Johar took to Twitter to reveal three, absolutely stunning posters of Dhadak ? which marks itself as the official remake of Marathi-blockbuster Sairat ? wherein the two newcomers? chemistry is explosively real!

Bollywood aficionados are, needless to say, going crazy over the announcement, with the legendary actress herself showering the Dhadak team with ?good wishes?, saying ?May all blessings be with you?ll to make a honest film?.

Shashank Khaitaan ? the movie?s director ? had earlier shared a message with fans, stating, ?We are about to extend our family [of scintillating stars]. We are about to present two actors?.

?What?s the name of the film? Well, let me just give you a hint ? My heart is beating faster.?

Let's see how much love the newbies will get after diehard fans watch the film for the first time on July 6, 2018.
