Rahul Gandhi's Hilarious 'Aloo To Sona' Speech Has Given Birth To Some Golden Memes

Sigh. Rahul Gandhi is back at it again!

He has always made himself an extremely easy target for trolls, and for some inexplicable reason, he never learns from his mistakes. Whenever he opens his mouth, more or less whatever he says ends up becoming a meme, and this time was no different. (Can't sigh enough!)

Recently, while addressing a rally in Patan, Gujarat, he talked about a lot of the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then proceeded to counter them with his own views on them. Soon, an excerpt from the 26 min video was picked up by people on Twitter, and started making a lot of buzz.

In the hilarious clip, he can be heard saying “Aisi machine lagaunga, iss side se aaloo ghusega, uss side se sona niklega.” (I'll install such a machine if you feed in potatoes, you'll get gold in return)

Obviously this was the food of gods for online pranksters, who pounced on the 20 second clip and turned it a smorgasbord of memes which then went insanely viral. Honestly, we think memesters should start paying Rahul now, because the Congress big gun is single-handedly feeding them with so much of golden material!

Okay, maybe he was trying to imitate PM Modi, but who needs facts when you have memes.

Wow, what a remix.

When you think of gold, you automatically think of Bappi Lahiri.

Someone's coming in with the facts.

Altering chemical composition of potato can convert it into gold. So what Rahul Gandhi is saying isn't wrong.
