Nepotism is like a fashion trend that is 'hot' in B-town right now. Karan Johar has been branded as the torchbearer of it and is continuing the legacy. The latest backlash that his production company received was when the next project cum debut launch pad for Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar was announced. They both are making their debut with 'Dhadak'.

Ishaan, who is Shahid's brother is already going places. He has been travelling across film festivals with Majid Majid and the team of 'Beyond The Clouds' which is his debut. Even before his maiden Bollywood debut sees the light of the day, Ishaan has earned a fabulous reputation for his work. He has been awarded with the 'best actor' at the International Bosphorus Film Festival.

This is Istanbul's most prestigious film festival and it surely is a big deal. Ishaan plays the character of a slum dweller in the movie and the lead actress with him is Malvika Mohan.

His Hindi debut, 'Dhadak' is scheduled for a July 2018 release and Ishaan has already set the expectation bar super high. He might be associated to nepotism, but he surely has the fine talent which comes with pure hard work.
