Famous Youtube Bodybuilder Calum Von Moger Tore His Bicep Doing A '181 Kilo Cheat Curl' Just For Fun


You must have heard about Calum Von Moger. The Arnold Schwarzenegger-look-alike- Youtube sensation is pretty popular in the bodybuilding circuits around the globe. The man's been racking up subscribers videos after videos and his fan base has only been growing. If you have seen his videos, the dude is super-duper jacked, fun and 100 percent looks like the second coming of Arnold himself. If you didn't know, he's in fact playing Arnold Schwarzenegger in an upcoming movie based on Weider brothers.

While Moger more than just knows his stuff, the race for new subscribers and likes on social media can even get intelligent bodybuilders do dumb stuff. Recently, Moger did something that almost could have ended his career and put him out of the game and Youtube, for a long time. Moger along with Chris Bumstead, a young Canadian bodybuilder who scored the 2nd spot in Classic Physique at Mr. Olympia 2017, decided to do a 400 pound (181 kilo) bicep curls using one bar.

Check this video out, that Chris posted regretting what they did and how this could have happened to him.

You can see the duo pretty confident while lifting the heavy load as a team. While they do perform one cheat curl, the second repetition brings an uncalled for and dumb injury for Moger. You can see Moger screeching in pain after he realizes that something has snapped in his bicep. They did this solely for the purpose of views on Youtube, after they had finished a grueling arms training session. While Moger hasn't made it to the top spots at the Mor. Olympia, Bumstead certainly has. This could have ended Bumstead's career or at least, could have cut it short.

Since Moger is an intelligent lifter, he was quick to realize his dumb mistakes and put out the video and a message, urging his fans to not try any such thing, EVER!

DONT TRY THIS! last night I had this crazy idea that me and @cbum_ should attempt a 400lb barbell curl. Was all fun and games until I tore my bicep. I really should have known better, I forgot to warm up properly and should have used #koalafreak pre from @staunch.nation instead of the stim free ð Bicep: Pretty sure it's a Grade 2 tear going off the web and the symptoms. Can Take up to 3 weeks before I'll get strength back. I'll try and see a specialist and get their opinion on it too. Note: Learn from my stupid mistakes! So guys let this be a lesson to you and teach you the importance of checking your ego at the door when you enter the gym. We hope Moger recovers quickly and get back to his grind!
