Pak-Saudi special forces hold joint counter-terrorism exercise in Riyadh

The two-week long exercise ? held in Pakistan last year ? started on November 25 and will continue till December 10.
A Pakistani contingent comprising of 68 officers and soldiers of special services group (SSG) is participating in this exercise, according to the military's media wing.
The Pak-Saudia joint exercise will help the participating troops from both sides to learn from each others? experiences in the counterterrorism field and strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two forces and the countries.
In Septemeber this year, special forces of the Pakistan army and Russia's military participated in a two-week-long joint exercise ?DRUZBA 2017? in Minralney Vody, Russia.
The joint military exercise had focused on counter-terrorism operations, hostage and rescue, cordon and search operations, and was intended to further strengthen military ties between the two countries.
The drills also served as a platform to share the Pakistan Army?s experience in the war against terrorism.
