RAWALPINDI: A delegation of Standing Committee on Defence members from both houses of the parliament on Tuesday visited the Line of Control (LoC) and condemned provocative cease-fire violations by Indian forces. 

The delegation, while visiting the Chakothi and Nezapir sectors, also appreciated the beffiting response to Indian aggression by Pakistan Army while protecting the local population, said a statement from the Inter-services Public Relations (ISPR).

The parliamentarians were also briefed about the situation along the LoC and the resultant loss of innocent civilian lives and damage to infrastructure due to Indian firing. 

Delegates were also taken to the Trade Facilitation Centre where they were apprised of trade activities carried out between India and Pakistan.
