According to a statement by the online news and social networking site, Twitter, Anushka?s tweet that had a picture of the bride and groom was one of the most retweeted posts of the year.

Kohli also confirmed their wedding with a similar post but different photo. It is said that the cricketer?s tweet became the most retweeted post, surpassing South actor Surya Sivakumar?s tweet regarding his second look of his Tamil film Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.

Anushka and Kohli got married in Italy earlier this month. Later, they also celebrated with their friends at a reception the couple arranged in Mumbai.
