'Padmavat' Has Reportedly Managed To Get A Release Date & It's Sooner Than You Think

In case you have been living under a rock over the last few weeks, let us first tell you that 'Padmavati' has now become 'Padmavat'. Now before you start to think and analyze how rational or irrational this change in the title of the film is, we should also tell you that it's done and there's nothing we can do about it now. So, moving on.

Looks Like 'Padmavat' Has Finally Got A Release Date© Bhansali Productions

After seeing the film in headlines for months and being a part of a hundred controversies, all we wanted was the film to just release. What else would you want after seeing a trailer that gives you goosebumps, only to realize that the film is not releasing anytime soon?

Have a look at this piece of art again:

And it now looks like that our prayers for the film to release have been heard because the film has finally got a release date. Well, sort of.

According to Mumbai Mirror, 'Padmavat' is set for a release on January 25th. Yes, this month itself.

However, if this indeed is true, it would clash with Akshay Kumar's 'PadMan' which was earlier slated for a release on January 26th but was preponed.

On the other hand, some reports also say that it might release on Republic Day, which would make total sense because a clash like this obviously won't be good for either for the films.

Nevertheless, it is highly likely that the film would be released around Republic Day which is just a few weeks from now. And since we all have already waited for so long, a few more weeks won't do us any harm.
