I used to be a very thin and scrawny guy right from my school days. Playing video games for hours on end used to be the highlights of my days. Wake up and hammer on the games entire night and sleep in the morning. The lifestyle sucked to say the least. I loved hogging over street junk foods and hardly ate healthy, let alone eating for a goal. Though I did participate in sports activities but nothing really religious or serious at all. Unsurprisingly, I grew up as a skinny kid who would picked on more than often.Β

Then came engineering and the only form of physical activity I did (Football), also went for a toss. My batch mates made took my case every now and then by calling me names. I still remember how humiliated and demeaned I felt when I looked at myself in the mirror. I grew very insecure about my appearance. I was hesitant in joining gym as I felt people will make me a laughingstock there as well. But finally, I got a grip on my inhibitions and decided to join a gym. I looked up to Cristiano Ronaldo and wanted a ripped physique like his. Being fast and powerful on football field and maintaining an aesthetic fit body like him is what always I wanted. I had my goal physique set in my mind.Β

Truth be told, I made a million of mistakes in the beginning. Didn't know a dime about diet and training right. Doing random exercises with improper form and eating junk post workout was pretty much regular. I knew I was wrong and started hunting for a coach. I came across plenty of helpful Indians and foreign fitness instructors on YouTube and figured what I was doing wrong.Β 

And then I started following a structured diet, consumed adequate protein and started eating the right foods. I saw some immediate results and thought if I can achieve this in such a short span, there must be a lot of room for improvement. I kept hustling day in and day out. Fast forward 2 years and here's where I stand. I still make it a point to improve myself every day and be disciplined. A consistent goal for me is to hit my macros and micronutrients each day and eating clean for most part of the day.

1g of protein per pound of body weight, healthy fats and clean carbs before and after the workout topped with whey protein, Fish Oil, Ashwagandha and Multivitamins. I am happy that I reached closer to my goal of looking fit like Ronaldo and I'm trying my best to keep that it maintained and make progress. I proved everybody who ran me down and said that I am not worth it wrong. That not only brings me immense satisfaction but also impeccable confidence. If you've the willpower to succeed and the desire from deep inside, then NOBODY CAN STOP YOU!
