A car hit a centre divider, went airborne and ploughed into the second floor of a dentist's office – this is honestly something you don't see every day.

You might have already seen this picture floating around the internet, and if your first thought about this bizarre incident was –

How A Car Crashed Into The Second Floor Of A Building

– then we have some answers, kind of; the whole thing is still pretty weird.

So basically, this freak incident took place in Southern California where a white sedan somehow managed to get partially wedged into the second floor of a building, and stayed there for hours. Is this real life, or just a scene out of a movie?

How A Car Crashed Into The Second Floor Of A Building

According to Capt. Stephen Horner, a spokesman for the Orange County Fire Authority, officials received a call about a crash in Santa Ana, California, at about 5:30 a.m. Reportedly, the car was at a really high speed and hit the concrete median. Horner said that the driver, who was apparently on drugs, was not driving parallel to the divider. Coming from a side street, the car slammed into the median and the impact was enough to make car 'fly' into the air and crash into the small office building.

There was also a small fire but it was extinguished immediately. Amazingly, no one was hurt. Out of the two people in the car, one managed to get out quickly but the other one was trapped for around an hour as authorities used a heavy piece of equipment to stabilize the vehicle, Horner said. After that, both of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Wow, that was wild from the start to the finish, wasn't it?

As soon as the pictures and videos from the incident landed on the internet, they went viral, well obviously. This is such a rare occurrence that people couldn't help themselves but poke fun at it and crack jokes.
