Twitter Has A Field Day As Sasikalaandamprsquos CM Hopes Take A Nosedive After SCConviction

VK Sasikala and O. Panneerselvam’s battle for AIADMK leadership came to an end early Tuesday morning as the SC convicted her for a 1996 corruption case. Following the judgment, she’ll have to spend four years in jail and pay a fine of Rs. 10 crores. She will also be disbarred from contesting elections for the next 10 years.

Twitter, in all its glory, had a field day after the conviction. Here are some brutal tweets on the SC judgment. Be warned though, if you’re a Sasikala supporter turn away now!

In a stunning reversal of fortunes, now Sasikala is captive, and the MLAs are free.

Whether O. Panneerselvam will now be sworn-in as the CM is still not clear and the next 48 hrs will give us an answer if the Sasikala camp comes up with a different candidate of its own.
