It's been 17 years since the wonderful 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' happened to us. The dewy innocence of Dia Mirza, the chiselled handsomeness of Madhavan and the one movie which made everyone notice Saif, was a delight with its simple storyline and even better songs. “Sach keh raha hai deewana” is still the go to song for most of us when we get kicked in the heart. 

The good news is that Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan are all set to reunite as co-stars on the big screen after a hiatus of 17 long years. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Saif and Madhavan will be seen in an Anand L Rai movie which will be directed by Navdeep Singh. 

The director had to choose between Anushka Sharma's production 'Kaneda' which will feature Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh, and this Saif-Madhavan movie, and he chose the latter. Deepak Dobriyal is also set to join the star cast and if rumours are to be believed then Zoya Hussain (from 'Mukkabaaz ' fame) will play the lead.

Madhavan was last spotted in 'Breather', which is a thrilling web series and Saif was recently seen in 'Kalakaandi'. The upcoming movie is going to be a historical, period drama and given by the current history of movie bans, we just hope this one doesn't face the flak that 'Padmaavat' got. The movie is going to go on floors from the next month onwards and will be shot across Mumbai, Rajasthan and UP. It sounds like an exciting collaboration though!
