Ferrari Launched Their Fastest Car Ever andamp We Cant Wait To See It In Action

Ferrari announced their latest supercar (even though it sounds extremely silly) and every petrolhead is celebrating this auspicious day. The Ferrari 812 Superfast is the most powerful and fastest car they have produced in the brand’s history.

Under the hood, the car has a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 789 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. The engine used in the ‘Superfast’ is the most powerful V12 produced to date. The engine’s power is underscored by a full, rich exhaust sound that exploits the acoustic clout delivered by its increased displacement. Maximum torque is 718 Nm @ 7,000 rpm, a significant 80% of which is already available at 3,500 rpm, improving both driveability and pick-up even at low revs.

The 812 is also the first car by the company that has electric power steering on board and the automaker promises that it won’t castrate the steering feel that Ferrari is known for. The car also has Ferrari’s signature stability control system and a revised rear-wheel-steering setup. This essentially enables the car to pivot the rear axle and in turn improve the car’s low-speed maneuverability and speed handling.

The interior of the new 812 is also beautiful much like every other Ferrari out there. The tachometer gets the central focus since it sits front and centre. It has two screens, which can be configured as per your liking. The steering wheel is brand new with Ferrari specific features such as the ‘manettino’ mode and turn signal buttons.
