A Rajasthani Figure-Skater Dancing On Ice To 'Ghoomar' Is The Best Thing You'll See Today

When Padmaavat's 'Ghoomar' was dropped, it managed to make waves across the nation within hours. A small glimpse at a controversial movie was just what we needed and Ghoomar was just right for the purpose. Let's not even get into the CGI debacle, because no one cares about that right now.

Several records were broken when the song was released, as it garnered millions of views and the release of the movie did the same. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the cast are definitely on cloud nine with the kind of response the film is getting across the world. And to add to that, the increasing number of performances on Ghoomar that are taking place globally is blowing us away.

The latest addition to that list is Mayuri Bhandari's performance.

Mayuri, who is a figure-skater and a dancer recently uploaded a video of herself dancing to the tunes of 'Ghoomar' and the video went viral for all the right reasons.

You see, it isn't just another dance video to the hit song. It's the perfect combination of figure-skating and dancing on ice. And the woman does it with such ease and brilliance that you won't even want to blink.

She first uploaded a boomerang on her Instagram back in December to tease us all.

My camera may be pixely, and the ice may be flimsy, but I don't go easy, and I'm still not queasy! ðâ¸â #backontheice #figureskating #ghoomar

And finally, just a day after the release of the movie, she uploaded the video on YouTube with the description, “In honor of the film Padmaavat's release, here is my ice skating tribute to the beautiful song Ghoomar! As a Rajasthani, I skate to this song with pride!”

Have a look at her mesmerizing performance:

Honestly, we didn't want the video to end. These are the kind of tributes we would to like to see more of. Team 'Padmaavat', are you watching this?
