Justin Trudeau is perhaps one of the most loved politicians in the world. The Canadian Prime Minister has managed to impress not only his own country's citizens but has raked in love from others as well, including India.

Whether it's his charming looks or his advocacy for secularity, the young PM has won hearts everywhere and so, for obvious reasons, his visit to India was something everyone was looking forward to.

Accompanied by his wife and three children- Xavier, Hadrien and Ella-Grace, Trudeau landed in India on 17th of February; in style of course.

The 8 days of his tourist life began with a tour of the Taj Mahal, because let's face it, when you are visiting India, you HAVE to visit the Taj Mahal.

We even think he tried to channel his inner Shah Rukh Khan but pretty much failed.

He also visited the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Mathura.

This was followed by a short trip to Gujarat to the Sabarmati Ashram and we saw Trudeau in his best desi avatar yet.

Clad in a red kurta, Trudeau looked his dapper self and was seen indulging in Indian traditions with his family.

The Ashram authorities gifted quite a few mementos to the family including several books of Bapu and a small charkha.

Next up on the tour was the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar.

Next up, he will be seen at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad speaking on "Education and Investment Opportunities". He is also scheduled to visit Amritsar and Mumbai and would then go ahead with his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
