The Academy Awards have been rolled out in Los Angeles, and it is to be the most coveted and the most important award in the whole wide world. Movies, directors, technicians and actors from all over the globe make it to various categories, and although Hollywood obviously dominates the chart, the Oscars honor people where it's important. This year, Bollywood's biggest super stars, the late Sridevi and Shashi Kapoor were honoured and the Academy paid a heart warming tribute to them.

Sridevi, Bollywood's first female super star was found dead in her hotel room in Dubai on 24th February and yester year's favourite actor, Shashi Kapoor died on 4th Decmeber 2017. They both played a major role in shaping the face of Indian cinema and are remembered for their memorable work all over the globe. Every year, the Oscars honours the important people who have passed away in the world of cinema and a musical tribute is paid to them. Meanwhile, everyone back home is in love with the tribute and pretty emotional at the same time.
