Rumour has it that wedding bells are all set to ring in the house of one of India's biggest names. Mukesh and Nita Ambani's son, Akash Ambani is apparently all set to tie the knot with diamond King Russel Mehta's daughter, Shloka Mehta.

While nothing has been confirmed, the news has been doing the rounds for quite a while now. Akash is the eldest son in the family and Shloka is the daughter of well known Russel Mehta, who owns Rosy Blue Diamonds. Apparently, the families are thick friends and the two kids studied in the same school together.

The Mehtas are ardently respected in their circle of diamond business and are well-known names in the country as well. While Akash is currently taking charge of Reliance Jio. Shloka is an alumnus of the London School Of Economics and is currently serving on the board of directors panel for Rosy Blue Diamonds. 

While a confirmation is awaited from the families, the rumour itself has pretty much gotten the country talking. After all, it is clearly going to be the biggest wedding extravaganza that the nation will witness.
