Hugh Jackman Publicly Talks About Battling Skin Cancer andamp Urges People To Take Precautions

A few days back we told you about our generation’s Wolverine, Hugh Jackman’s battle against skin cancer. Though it was not fatal, it kept recurring in Jackman’s case. This is what he posted on IG a few weeks backs, updating his fans about his fight with cancer for that recurred for the 6th time.

Here’s what he posted.

Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with the dressing on than off. I swear! #wearsunscreen

Now that Jackman’s been cured and given a clean bill of health, he appeared on Live with Kelly and made his first statement about his battle with cancer. Jackman said, "It's a basal cell carcinoma, everything’s fine. It is skin cancer but the least dangerous form of it. So it's just something I have to get out. Being an Aussie with English parents, growing up in Australia, it's sort of the new normal for me." He also pointed out that how growing up in the sunny Australia, people never paid attention to using sunscreen lotions and other things that protected against UV rays. Jackman’s completely fine now and his latest movie, ‘Logan’ is already killing it at the box office. We wish the man all the luck!
