Wearing pop colours (that blare all out) can be tricky sometimes. In all honesty, they look comical, tacky and well, even a little awkward. Plus, if not paired right, it's like walking yourself into a well. And this time, the firemen won't help you out. But since we've brought in the reference of firemen into this discussion, let's get straight to Sidharth Malhotra's recent airport outing, that featured pop orange and a metallic hue — cc: the reflective uniforms of our firefighting, brave Indian men (or for that matter, something you'd spot at any construction site).

But that's like walking away from the core of the discussion. Point being, Sid Malhotra recently took a rather, bright jacket out for a spin in Mumbai's humidity and made us sit back and notice. However, while for most men out there, the outerwear piece could be a big no-no, we're finding it to be a terrific must-have.

Lately, Malhotra's been living quite the good life. He's been shooting for his upcoming movie, signing brand endorsements (left, right and centre), showing up at prolific events and ensuring his pictures float all over social media. So, since he's been on a bit of a crazy spree lately, this attention-grabbing jacket decision isn't a big surprise coming from him.

But let's tell you why we're loving this sight. #1, we're all for maximal colours. So really, the pop orange is completely doing it for us. #2, metallics look insane. And seeing them being worn by an otherwise safe dresser Sid Malhotra, we're quite happy and overjoyed. #3 and the most important aspect, thanks to the addition of white here, there's a lot of visual contrast in the jacket. Making your eyes pop and take notice of what the hell's happening.

Plus, as an extension of his safe-dressing days, thankfully, the actor has stuck to minimal gear to bring the outfit to a close. Though, we wish he'd opted for a crew neck/round neck instead of the V (he's tall enough, he doesn't need to elongate his frame). All in all, this is a real menswear victory, man!
