Indie Art Week Is Going On And This Is Whats Happening

The Indie Art Week just started and here is all you need to know about it. This week-long festival will celebrate a number of different art forms, ranging from an eclectic mix of music, films, theatre, photography, visual arts and comedy among others and will be spread across six venues.

Rohan Kulshreshtha, known for being the bassist of the popular band Peter Cat Recording Co., took this initiative in an attempt to create a platform for both discovery and collaborative possibilities for Independent Artistes. One of the biggest highlight of this festival would be ‘Jamblu Launch’, the launch of Kartik Pillai, Peter Cat Recording's guitar player’s solo Album.

So, here’s what’s happening for the remaining part of the week and where to catch what!

March 16th to 19th, 2017:

4 Warehouses with 100+ artists over 4 Days, ft. Optik Lounge (Visuals Gallery), Grey Area (Live Stage), Spotlight (Theatre & Comedy), Drone Den (Sonic Art) and Bargain X (Installations, exhibition and makers market).

Time: Thursday & Friday, 5 pm onwards; Weekend- 1 pm onwards

Venue: IAW Carnival @ Dhan Mill Compound, Chattarpur

Grey Area (Live Stage- Music) - Them Clones, PCRC, Teddy Boy Kill, Digital Suicide, Nigambodh, TankBund, Begum, Caesars Of The Green, Ranjit Arapurakall, Antione Reddon, Mathias, More TBA

There’s a Secret Closing Party happening which is only open to the festival season pass buyers. In case you haven’t yet got your passes, don’t wait too long.
