'Padmaavat' simply took his career to another level. There is something about Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who manages to bring out the hidden finesse in an actor that no one else can.

Well, playing a dark character often has repercussions. Working on 'Padmaavat' took a toll on Ranveer's mental and physical health. The actor underwent a brutal mental ordeal and went into a dark abyss to become 'Khilji'. To ace his role, he locked himself in the house for 21 days so he could get into the skin of the complex role.
On Wednesday the film completed 75 days since its release and Ranveer took to his Instagram sharing the video of what went into making of Khilji.
