Amitabh Bachchan rules Bollywood and even he knows that, but age has its own ways to mess with your head. And Sr. Bachchan seems to be going through some sort of a similar crisis now.

Mr. Bachchan, who is one of the most respected celebs in the movie industry, often wishes his co-stars on their birthdays over a personalised text message.

Well, that's indeed an amazing thing, but what happens later forms the crux of the story. Turns out, he doesn't like being ignored when he wishes someone. Well, no one does really, but Big B particularly hates it. Not responding to him, or even responding late to his messages irks him like nothing else. To put it simply, not responding to him has repercussions. Severe repercussions.  

And this leaves him with no option but to simply tweet and remind the guilty people to do the deed. Basically, it is like watching his classic movie 'Baghban' come to life. Respect your elders y'all!

On Tuesday, Big B messaged Anushka Sharma who was in Bangalore celebrating her birthday with husband Virat Kohli. The actress, in fact, posted a picture on Twitter thanking the Indian Skipper and wrote, "Best birthday with the bestest, kindest, bravest man in the world. Love you for making it so special my love!”

Her Twitter was flooded with warm wishes but Bachchan was truly disappointed and had something serious to say: "@AnushkaSharma .. Anushka .. this is Amitabh Bachchan @Srbachchan .. wished you on May 1st via sms .. no response .. checked they said you changed number .. sent greetings again .. love and wishes .. you looked radiant at the IPL game last night."

While Anushka had a genuine reason, she replied to him as she saw the tweet and said, “Thank you so much Sir, for remembering my birthday and sending your kind wishes! (Responding to your sms as I tweet this)" wrote Anushka.

But this isn't the first time Bachchan has pulled up people for not replying to him, as there are a string of other actors who have been a victim of the Angry Young Man's wrath.
