The fact that the Cannes extravaganza, in all realness, is less about films and more about fashion, is now well-established. Really, ask anyone to name 3 films that are being shown, and then ask them about 3 outfits that Kangana or Deepika wore - and our claim shall be validated. But what's the harm in that? None, whatsoever! Except probably a teeny tiny one. Why should the ladies hog all the limelight? It's not fair. Who else should we talk about then, you ask? Well, if you can look past a certain Miss Padukone's fuschia toned, ruffled madness, overlooking the fire that our fierce Miss Ranaut has lit, and finally over the graceful peacock feathers of Mrs Rai Bachchan, you will see an Indian man holding his own, secure within his bubble of nonchalance. We are talking about Jim Sarbh. Remember Malik Kafur from 'Padmaavat'?

Isn't he totally living it up? Do we even see a little slice of that character in between the layers of intricate embroidery he is sporting? Perhaps. But he totally can do it the mainstream way too. When he decides to clean up, this is what happens.

The duo-tone black awesomeness is just as refined and understated as he is, and yet just as potent.

And then he decided to hit it with stripes. And boy did he succeed!

But he had fun too. Have you ever seen anyone chill in the pool in a huge blowup duck? Well now you have.

This is how it's done, we say. Kudos, Jim.
