The Great Wisteria Festival In Japan Is The Only Place On Earth We Want To Be At Right Now

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” – Luther Burbank

And if that’s anything to go by, then, Japan is the place to be right now. The great Wisteria Festival, at the Ashikaga Flower Park in Japan is thronged during this part of the year when tourists and residents from all over the city, and the world flock to the park to see a 150-year-old Wisteria spread over a 600-tatami trellis area. And that’s not all. A long white wisteria tunnel, the Kibana wisteria tunnel and more than 350 other wisteria trees are in full bloom at the moment, making it one of the most beautiful sigts to feast your eyes on.
