Jude Law Is Set To Play Dumbledore In The Fantastic Beasts Sequel And Were Yelping

In very exciting news, it has been revealed that the role of Albus Dumbledore, in the sequel of Fantastc Beasts And Where To Find Them will be played by none other than Brit actor, Jude Law. In a statement, director David Yates confirmed the news, saying, “Jude Law is a phenomenally talented actor whose work I have long admired, and I’m looking forward to finally having the opportunity to work with him. I know he will brilliantly capture all the unexpected facets of Albus Dumbledore as J.K. Rowling reveals this very different time in his life.”

The two-time Oscar nominee will be portraying the Hogwarts school principal, Dumbledore long before the iconic wizard became the Headmaster at Hogwarts. The character will be set decades earlier when Dumbledore is still serving as the wizarding school’s Transfiguration professor, while also being a contemporary of Gellert Grindelwald, the dark wizard who later, went on to become Dumbledore’s arch-nemesis.

This just makes things even more interesting for all Potter-fans. The film is set to go on floor this Summer and we can’t wait for the film’s release which is probably slated for sometime next year.
