Janhvi & Ishaan's Emotional Scene From 'Dhadak' Gives Hope That It Might Do Justice To 'Sairat'

The much-awaited 'Dhadak' is all set to hit the screens tomorrow, and everyone has their eye on Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. The two are making their Bollywood debut with the remake of the superhit Marathi film 'Sairat' and hence, the expectations are huge.

Pehli baar..

In 'Sairat', the beautiful story of Archana (Rinku Rajguru) and Prashant (Akash Thosar) made its way into millions of hearts, and now with Janhvi and Ishaan taking the lead in the Hindi version, it would be interesting to see if 'Dhadak' is able to create the same magic.

With just a few hours left for the movie to release, a scene from the film has surfaced and is already making rounds on the internet. Based on caste discrimination and honour killing, 'Dhadak' has Janhvi playing the role of Parthavi, and Ishaan of Madhukar aka Madhu.

In the video, we can see Parthavi losing it and breaking down in front of Madhu. She is frustrated and emotionally exhausted as she misses her home. We see her strongly venting her emotions and finally, Madhu loses it as well, leading to quite an intense exchange between the two lovers.

The video reminds us of Archi and Parshya from 'Sairat' and makes us wonder if 'Dhadak' might actually end up doing justice to the original movie. Or like other Bollywood remakes, will it just ruin something beautiful because of sheer lack of originality?
