A Cricket Team's 'High Score' Was 18 Runs & The Target Was Chased In Just 12 Minutes
If you ever feel bad about yourself, just come back and read this story, it'll help you feel better, I promise.
Probably for the first time in history, a cricket team was all out after scoring just 18 runs. Yep, 18. That's kinda embarrassing but I feel bad for them as well. Everyone loves making a record, but I don't think Beckenham CC is very excited about holding the record of lowest total ever.
What's more embarrassing is the fact that their opponents Bexley CC only needed 12 minutes to beat them, that too without losing a single wicket. Oops.

The entire innings lasted just 49 minutes and that's way less time than it even took me to write this article. So yeah, the team and I are both a little inefficient, I guess.
Beckenham CC won the toss – the only thing they won that day – and decided to bat first. In those 49 minutes, they only managed to get 18 runs, as I've mentioned before but the surprising part is almost half the team didn't even manage to get on the score board. The highest runs any player made was 4.
After losing the first wicket, everything fell apart; wicket after wicket, zero after zero.

This looks so sad, that score board is like my 11th class marksheet.
Then the opposing team came and scored 19 runs for the win without any trouble, obviously. Well, this will probably go down in history as the quickest match ever. What a legacy!
