'God's Own Country', Kerala is currently battling the worst flood in 100 years. The death toll has climbed to over 300 and is on a constant rise. More than 3 lakh people have been shifted to relief camps and rescue missions are on to save thousands of people from this disaster; Kerala needs our help as the situation continues to worsen with each passing day.

Like a silver lining in the dark clouds, in this worsening situation, people from across the country are coming forward to support and help Kerala in every possible way. And cricketer Sanju Samson also lend a helping hand by donating Rs. 15 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. In fact, he further urged his fans to support the Kerala flood victims. Reportedly, Samson's father Samson Vishwanadh and brother Saly Samson met CM Pinarayi Vijayan and handed over the cheque to him.

Samson, in an interview with Khaleej Times, said he is not doing this for publicity, "This is not for publicity. I do charity without letting the world know. Now, it's the time to raise some awareness on the importance of making a donation to the flood relief fund and people like me have to do it and let the public know. I think my action will prompt several other people to come forward and support the flood-hit people." And he did exactly that with this Facebook post.
While people are appreciating and supporting Sanju Samson for helping the Kerala flood victims, they are also criticising India's youngest billionaire, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, for donating a small sum of Rs. 10,000 to the flood victims. Social media was not ready to let this pass just like that and bombarded Sharma with these tweets.
